They should’ve hired a planner and designer
The room was comfortable. The place is new. The setup is really stupid considering they had 5 acres to get it right. You pull up to the door and there’s just one awning for one car. This was a mess because it was pouring. It was chaos, confusion, and anger at the door. It was a complete headache and shuffle and there’s no way to ditch the car until you check in. Once you check in, they give you a parking lot access pass to get into an uncovered parking lot a quarter mile away. Then, you walk back on the road to get back to the hotel because no one cared enough to put a damn sidewalk directly back to the front door. So, enjoy your walk in the rain while dodging cars. Once you get in, it’ll take you 20 minutes to unjam the sliding door in the room and if you’re over 40 or have compromised movement, you’re very likely to die getting out of the bathtub/half-ass shower/swimming pool in the bathroom without any grab handles onto a floor that is 100% completely soaked because there’s only a tiny glass divider for the shower. So, if you use the shower, there’s no way to effectively keep the water in the pool. It’s the dumbest design I’ve ever seen in my life and someone is going to die there. It’s an absolute guarantee. There’s no way to get out of the pool tub without sitting on the edge, swiveling, and landing on your feet in all the water that made it out. I’m 49, tall, and fit and had a hell of a time. If someone is short and old, it’s a death sentence. Good food.

Sehr gutes Frühstücks- und Abendbuffett, bei dem sich die ganze Familie immer etwas fand. Eigentlich wollten wir die Restaurants der Gegend testen, hat sich dann nicht ergeben. Zimmer sind ruhig und sauber. Neue Poollandschaft für Kinder genau richtig zum rumtoben. Meer ist nur durch schmalen Weg vom Hotel getrennt. Der Sandstrand fällt flach ab und man kann weit hinausnoch stehen.

Sol Umag ist ein großes, gut ausgestattetes, sauberes Hotel mit einem guten Angebot. Zugang zum Meer direkt vor dem Hotel, allerdings sehr gut besucht. Wirklich zu empfehlen.

Nous étions dans la résidence de cet hôtel. Les chambres y sont spacieuses avec une belle salle de bain et un balcon mer. Attention, côté montagne la vue n'est pas terrible. La piscine est minuscule mais c'est compensé par la plage. Pas de sable, mais une terrasse avec accès à l'eau par des échelles...comme la piscine. Côté restaurant-buffet: bof, assez moyen. En plus, pas de possibilité de déjeuner à l'extérieur, donc obligation de subir le brouhaha.

Sehr gutes 4 Sterne Hotel
Direkt am Meer gelegenes Hotel für Jung und Alt, Sportler oder nur für's Relaxen. Keine übertriebene Kleidervorschrift. Essen ausgezeichnet, dafür ist am Buffet gelegentlich etwas Geduld erforderlich. Beim Servicepersonal fällt positiv auf, dass Sie speziell bei alten oder behinderten Menschen sofort und ungefragt unterstützen.,Essen bringen, bessere Plätze anbieten etc. Ansonsten wie beschrieben, zusätzlich ist an jedem Abend für gute, gelegentlich auch für top Unterhaltung gesorgt. Die Shows enden relativ pünktlich, sodass ab 23 Uhr auch Ruhe einkehrt.

Location molto buona con servizi ottimi di tutti i tipi. Soprattutto per famiglie con bambini la zona è molto adatta perché se anche ci sono scogli sono state fatte delle piattaforme con scalini x accesso al mare. Acqua pulita e fondali da bassi a molto belli da vedere più al largo. L'hotel ed il residence sono ottimi, camere non troppo spaziose ma funzionali. La pulizia potrebbe essere migliore Non abbiamo mai cenato in albergo vista la quantità e qualità dei ristoranti ma la colazione è varia ed assolutamente soddisfacente. Il personale alla reception cordiale e preparato,molto gentili nell'accogliere ogni richiesta. Quindi un hotel assolutamente da consigliare

Von dem sagenhaft klaren Meer in Kroatien haben wir in Umag leider nichts gesehen und nachdem wir Schnorcheln waren, wollten wir dort nicht mehr ins Wasser. Beim Frühstück und Abendbuffett gab es jeden Tag das gleiche. Für Leute die auf ihre Ernährung achten wollen, ist das Frühstücksbuffett dort eher nichts. Das Restaurant hatte leider eine sehr kleine Karte, weshalb man da dort auch recht schnell alles probiert hatte. Für Urlauber die gerne fortgehen oder am Abend noch etwas die Stadt erkunden wollen, ist Umag wohl eher nichts. Weit und breit haben wir keine Bars oder Clubs gefunden und die Stripeinlage die während des Kinderclubs am Abend von heißen, durchtrainierten Tänzern gezeigt wurde, war zwar ganz nett anzusehen, aber für Kinderaugen wohl eher ungeeignet. Die Duschkabine in unserem Zimmer war komplett verschimmelt und auch auf dem Duschkopf befand sich eine eigenartig, dunkle Schicht. Wir haben das sofort bei der Rezeption gemeldet. Der Duschkopf wurde zwar ausgetauscht, aber bei der Duschkabine wurde nicht mal versucht den Schimmel und den Schmutz zu entfernen.

Alt for dyrt IG ikke 4 stjerners!
Vi hadde bestilt en ukes opphold med utsikt mot hage. Vi ble veldig skuffet da vi kom dit! Dette er ikke et 4 stjerners hotell!! Et typisk gammelt hotel som er overflate pusset opp, Og vi fikk utsikt mot parkeringsplass med søppelcontainere. Det kostet alt for mye ift til standard. Dessuten stemte ikke pris PR natt ift det vi fikk på hotell.com. Selv om vi viste prisen hjalp ikke det! Og frokosten virket som en stor kafeteriasal med saft som juice og udrikktelig kaffe! Vi avbestilte etter en natt og fant et nydelig 5 stjerners hotell i Slovenia til nesten samme pris! Vil ikke anbefale umag sol til noen .

wir waren rundum zufrieden.Essen war lecker und reichlich. Negativ sind die etwas kleinen Zimmer und Gebühren von ca. 8€ pro Tag für Liegestühle am hoteleigenen Strand.

WC-Duschraum ungepflegt.
Freundlicher Empfang, Code für Wlan und Freiparkplatz-Karte bekommen, Zimmer und Betten sauber, Dusch-WC-Raum Boden während den 5 Nächten nicht gereinigt worden, ich habe jeden Tag ein auffälliges Schmutzteil (Dichtungsmasse des Handtuchwärmers) unter dem Waschbecken platziert, es war nach der Zimmerreinigung nicht einmal verschoben worden. Die Fliesen am WC waren seitlich dunkel verspritzt und wurden während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht gereinigt. Der Balkon wurde ebenfalls nicht gereinigt. Ich habe nichts an der Rezeption gemeldet. Die Fahrrinnen der Duschwände waren verschmutzt, die Fugendichtungen des Raumes schmutzig und unvollständig. Schade.

Odlična opcija za smještaj u Umagu
Najbolja lokacija u Umagu, hotel čist, osoblje uslužno i pristojno, depandansa blizu hotela sa ugodnim sobama, sve sa prostranim balkonom.To što nije fizički povezana sa glavnom zgradom nije nikakav problem.

Wir waren im Nebengebäude der Sol Umag Residence untergebracht. Dort war alles ziemlich neu renoviert. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und es gab alles was man braucht. Das Bad hatte sogar ein Fenster. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und das Abendessen auch in Ordnung (Buffet). Nur die Getränke zum Abendessen waren natürlich ziemlich teuer. Die Außenanlage wie Pool usw waren sehr sauber. Das Hotel ist wirklich direkt am Meer. Der Strand ist mit Terrassensteinen ausgelegt und man kann gegen Gebühr Liegen nehmen, aber auch mit Decke oder Handtücher kann man es sich gemütlich machen. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und wir werden sicher noch einmal dort Urlaub machen.
