Great property! After checking in at the reception desk, I felt like we were in a jungle as we walked to our cottage, which is a good thing. Our cottage was spacious and we felt very relaxed and comfortable. I highly recommend Ubud Inn and Cottages.

Only 200 odd meters up the road from the Monkey Forest, and they frequently visit here...nice swimming pool, however wear swimming google as lots of chlorine...beautiful gardens and conveniently located to all shops and bars...highly recommend.

Property was clean. Staff was good. Maintainance should be done to make sure all broken items in room are fixed like lampshades and inner fridge door. Location is good. Breakfast was ok but staff in restaurant was not too pleasant. Breakfast options for vegetarians are almost non existant and makes the portions too small because one item which you cannot have is not replaced by anything else.

Location was superb. Jalan Monkey Forest is where all the restaurants and shops are located. But the hotel itself leaves much to be desired. Is old and in need of much reinstallation works. The air con almost did not work on our first night. But the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was unspectacular. We played host to one of the primates on our first breakfast when it appeared suddenly. Overall, if you are there to enjoy the beauty of Ubud and are not too fussy about the condition of the accommodation, you can consider the hotel. But if you are prepared to pay more and staying for more than 3 nights, there are other choices along the same street.

Ubud Inn is a lovely place to stay. The grounds are beautiful and the pool wonderful. The rooms are really spacious. We had an upstairs rooms which was fine for us but if you have any knee issues ask for a ground floor room. There are quite a few stairs and they are higher steps, as seems to be the norm in Bali. The court yard is very lush with flowers and plants. The restaurant staff are all very sweet and accommodating. Ubud inn is about a 7-10 min easy walk to the monkey forest and very close to many good restaurants and shopping. The palace with its nightly traditional Balinese dance is about a 15-20 minute walk straight up the street to the end. It’s easy to get to from this hotel and there is so much to see on the way. That’s why it’s a little hard to estimate the walking time as we kept stopping to look at things on the way 😉

goegeous hotel!
The location of this hotel was perfect. We were walking distance to many restaurants and shops but not in the absolute thick of downtown Ubud. The staff was all very friendly and the property was stunning! Breakfast was decent and basic but wasn’t included in the room booking I purchased but cost less than 100 rupiah.

Would recommend when construction work is finished
We did enjoy our stay here and the staff are lovely, super helpful. The only downside was the construction work going on while we were there, which we didn't know about when booking. A bit off putting when by the pool and people are wheeling past wheelbarrows of materials plus all the construction noise!

Situated in the heart of Ubud. Just on a few minutes walking to the Monkey Forest. Every morning there where some Monkeys visiting the hotel. It was a beautiful experience. The staf was great. Verry helpfull. The rooms where verry clean. And also don’t forget Donny from the poolbar and the fruitbat Charlie. I have stayed in the hotel with my two year old baby. He had also a wonderfull time with the monkeys and the fruitbat.

Lovely grounds and staff
The hotel grounds are lovely and the staff and facilities at the hotel are very welcoming and friendly. Our first room was damp and so they changed us to another bungalow which did not have this issue. The location is great right in the centre of Ubud close to the monkey forest.

It's a great Villa!

We enjoyed our stay at the Ubud Inn Cottages (aka Ubud Inn & Spa). The property is well maintained, the staff is friendly and very helpful, and the room was cozy and comfortable. It is within walking distance to Ubud Monkey Forest, Ubud Market and many other shops and restaurants. However, if you want to relax by the pool or go to the spa you can do that too. The on-site restaurant has a limited breakfast menu but the food options are still good.

Rooms need updating , sticky tape over the cracks very different , shower took up to 8 minutes to warm up , got used to it after a few days but yeah , outside has very pretty gardens and pool was nice .. but as they say you pay for what you get .. and it’s in a good location , close to monkey forest

The hotel is very central, it's within walking distance of the monkey forest and Ubud market. The massage service in the hotel itself was very good. The pool was also very nice and not too busy. Staff were very friendly and helpful with organising drivers for us

First nights room wasn’t good, thatched roof caused for mould and rising damp so requested a modern sealed roofing room for the other nights which was much better. Always make the comment you want a cealed food room.

Ubud Inn is beautiful! My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We spent time by the gorgeous pool area and had some fun in the early morning watching monkeys on our balcony. They weren't out when we were outside, and the staff made sure to keep them away from rooms and guests. I would absolutely recommend this hotel! The staff is very friendly and highly accommodating!

Convenient location and great staff
The room was ok, but really clear in the morning and needing some maintenance. The pool and gardens were really nice and the staff were all very kind and ready to help. Breakfast was good, but small with only a few options. They even packed us some breakfast for our last morning because were leaving 5am. The location is incredibly convenient. Overall a very good stay!

Room good value for money although a bit dated. The beds were comfortable, there was a fridge with water in it and a bottle opener. The air con was good and there was a tv. The location was great.

The best thing I can say is the grounds were beautiful. I changed rooms twice and then checked out early even tho the room was paid for. The first room, the bathroom was pretty bad. I didn't sleep all night as I was just creeped out. Moved to another room and the air-conditioning failed. Moved to another room, demanding a newer room and there were spiders the size of a baseball in the bathroom at night, along with numerous geckos. They were not apologizing for anything. Breakfast was sparse, staff was constantly approaching to give me a tour somewhere. They were pretty relentless, all the way to the end when I asked for a taxi, the check out person drove me himself to collect the driver fee.

Super close to monkey forest . Pretty close to the ubud market about 10 mins walk. The garden in the hotel is very pretty and mellow . Very quiet hotel

Convenient, with beautiful garden
We weren't keen on the room we were given and asked for a change, and that was taken care of swiftly and cheerfully. I saw a few rooms here actually (long story), and the difference between the recently renovated ones and the newer ones is certainly noticeable. The older ones are very tired looking, but the renovations have achieved decent results. Great pool and grounds...very peaceful amid the busy hub of Monkey Forest Road.

Nice hotel great location
I thought the hotel had extremely friendly and helpful staff. The accommodation were clean and comfortable. The restaurant had a very good breakfast. The landscape was very pretty and well maintained. The wifi wasn't good in the room. I had to sit outside to use it. But they had patio furniture right outside the room so that helped. For the price and location this is a great place.

Beautiful hotel grounds, very friendly staff
This was our second time staying at the Ubud Inn. The first was 15 years ago and it seems that not much has changed with the hotel in that time. They are beginning to build a more public, walk-up style restaurant at the front of the property to attract more people passing by on their way to the monkey forest. The hotel is in a great location just a short walk down the street to the monkey forest. There are many shops and cafes within steps out the front of the hotel. The hotel grounds are beautifully manicured with many paths through the garden-like setting. The rooms are very simple and nothing special but they are clean. The staff at the hotel are so kind and always ready to help with anything you need. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a great place to stay in Ubud.
