Cute, fair and nice - but they forgot our towels
The hotel is beautiful, the price is great. However, there are some stairs and courts spaces who make it difficult to access the rooms with big luggage. This is also due to the fact that the elevator, while charming, is old/classic. Moreover, one of their rooms has a separate bathroom but it isn't that clear in the ad, so make sure to double-check. There were no towels in our room too. The staff however, is very attentive to the travellers' needs.

Location of the hotel was excellent for seeing the city. Breakfast had many good choices. Would stay there again.

Turin is unlike other cities in italy. We found the hotel was located in a central area that was in easy walking distance to sites, shopping, restaurants and bars.

The Attic
Had a lovely time in Turin. The hotel was within easy walking distance to everything, sites, shops, food places. Reception staff were very helpful and showed us places to visit on the map.

My Piedmontese stay (Il Mio Soggiorno Piemontese).
Generally pleasant, especially since I managed to pay it all in advance. The hotel's safeness and its accessibility to public transit like the trams and motorbuses/metro along with the Porta Nuova train station made it very convenient and tempting to stay at their place again in the future.

Door wouldnt close.Hotel rooms had to be shared with tenants in building.1910 type elevator.No baggage help available.Disgusting receiving staff All in all an experience I wouldnt wish to my worst enemy

The hotel Is close to the históric center
The staff is Very kind, they are always helping the tourists with an excelent attitude. It's a good place for visit the north of Italy.

1. The Artua & Solferino was hard to find. 2. The hotel seems to share buildings with offices. 3. Room no 9 is in the attic with a very sharp winding staircase leading to a room that can best be described as an attic. 4. I upgraded to free internet, when I queried reception I was informed that I did not have free internet. I had to query this again to get internet access. The Artua & Solferino is one of the worst hotels if not the worst hotel that I have stayed in. Staff friendly enough except reception hanging up the phone when I rang down to reception inquiring about internet. Hotel 10 mins walk from city center.

our first night in Italy
This hotel looks grand on the outside. It occupies two buildings with reception on the ground floor of one while the hotel itself is on the fourth floor of the next with no interconnecting walkway. A lot of extra charges we hadn't expected - city tax 2.30 euro per person, off street parking 25 euro, in room wi.fi connection 8 euro & breakfast. With all these additional charges we probably could have found a nicer hotel. We were given a pin number for the building which didn't work & initially there was no electricity in our room because repairs were being done in the building. The bed was not comfortable but the room was clean & the bathroom good. Breakfast was crap - that's the best I can say about that!! The concierge spoke english, which is always a bonus.

Staff at the hotel are nice and helpful. The arrangement is odd as in 2 different buildings (rooms in one and main reception +breakfast room in another) but they do face one another. Room was in need of some renovation and quite basic. Bring your own shampoo.....

Very friendly staff....excellent breakfast with homemade pastries, yogurts, expresso, meats and cheeses....clean room with balcony,on a quiet street, adequate bathroom...although a couple of floors up, they do have an elevator...would definitely stay here again..very reasonably priced.

Hotel Artua & Solferino is an excellent location
The first stay was in an attic room that is about to be renovated. My second stay was in a room that had already be renovated. There was a significant difference. I felt the rooms were spacious and clean, the staff very helpful, the breakfast room charming, and the beds were very comfortable. There is lots of beautiful tile and marble and a sense of history that is so lacking in large new hotels. I have every intention of staying there in the future. This is the kind of hotel I look for. It is part of a residential area but near the train station, restaurants, shopping, and historical points of interest. I felt very safe.

Not worth its 3 stars
Certainly not worthy as a 3 star hotel. Staff were quite unhelpful. It was not even close to the photos posted on the internet. If my room had been on the net, I would have picked another hotel. When I looked around I discovered dirt in the corners of room and general impression of unclean. The TV was held together with selotape, and none of free to air channels were available. When I mentioned it, I was told the desk staff would let the manager know. Nothing happened. I mentioned it again the next day. Again it was ignored. My bed was not made nor my towels changed after 2nd night. Final straw was at check out when they tried to charge me an extra 37 euro for internet use. I had only used 1/2 hour and it should have been 1.60 euro. Over the 5 week trip I used a lot of hotels, and this was the only one that was a complete disappointment.

Great with kids.
We traveled from overseas with two small children (5 and 2 yrs old) and stayed for several days. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We had plenty of space and the room was comfortable and quiet.

Un po’ delusi Check-in trenta minuti d’attesa Purtroppo la gentilissima receptionist era sola La Camera era una mansarda affascinante ma rimasta agli anni ‘80 Il bagno era fatiscente Non funzionava il phon e si prendeva la scossa dall’accensione della luce dello specchio Colazione : primo giorno arrivati alle 7 e 45 C’era da mangiare ma non c’era chi faceva caffe e cappuccio Il giorno dopo alle 9 e 15 c’era la ressa , c’era poco cibo e non ne veniva portato altro se non due fette di formaggio e per il caffe bisognava andarselo a prendere al bar facendo la fila. Nota positiva posizione comoda al centro

Buongiorno , sul bancone del bar c’è il classico campanello degli Hotel per avvisare il personale che magari è 2 minuti in cucina per fare delle omelette. Il phon funziona perfettamente basta solo accendere il relativo interruttore a lato dello stesso, se lo aveste segnalato Vi avremmo sicuramente aiutati. Il bagno della camera non e fatiscente ma ha subito un restyling 2 anni fa , lo definirei decoroso . Distinti saluti

Vétusté de la chambre. Nécessité de réclamer des serviettes propres alors que les précédentes ont été mises sur le sol, parking payant à un prix exorbitant surtout compte tenu de l état de l établissement, dépose bagages payant...( hallucinant).

Bonjour a mon arrivee je demande un parking Ôk deux jours 45€ tout ceci en cash.. Toute la ville est payante .. de toute façon ca reste un vieil hotel Mais tres propre ..sur plus de 300 chaînes TV rien en anglais ni français ni d autres langues .. je trouve dommage .. le pdj est un peu restreint .. le cafe faut demander au bar .. les œufs ect .. dommage ..

non si riposa bene a causa del materasso a molle scomodissimo si sentono le molle nella schiena. non è stata mai rifatta la camera e all'arrivo mancavano gli accappatoi nel bagno. si sente polvere nei tendaggi molto pesanti.
