Friendly Tulbach
What a treat to stay in a hotel where the staff are super friendly and welcoming. I was amazed by the staff’s attention to detail whether front desk, security guy in the street, waiters, kitchen staff or cleaning staff. It was lively to see how you all were so proud of what you did. Thank you for a lovely stay.

An absolute “gem”
Absolutely amazing. From the moment you arrive until you leave your made to feel at home. Staff are very efficient & literally go out of there way to help & assist you. Our room was beautiful & clean & has everything one needs. The hotels Electrical back up system is a great “extra bonus”

Really wonderful getaway!
my wife and I were surprised at how friendly the staff were and how accomodating. The hotel is really a pleasure to stay, nothing was lacking, rooms were clean and shower was great plus it's right in the center of town so great for walking around. Even the restaurant food was top class. This is the first time I have given any hotel a top rated review all around and yes, definitely worth every cent.

"Simply the Best"
Location, friendly staff, service, food and facilities were superb. The only negative is the long staircase to the rooms which was a bit uncomfortable for the older people.

Wonderful stay, exceptional staff!
This lovely, well run hotel was the perfect place to stay in Tulbagh. Our room was beautifully done up, clean, warm and very comfortable. The staff who assisted us throughout our stay were very well trained and made every interaction easy and a pleasure. The little touches were much appreciated, including putting hot water bottles in our bed during dinner to a complimentary bottle of wine when we check out.

Great stay
We enjoyed staying at the Tulbagh Hotel. Staff were friendly, the rooms were nicely sized. The architecture are beautiful and its close to all attractions and amenities. Restaurant and bar area are really nice. Food is very good.

Lovely location - great staff at the hotel
We stayed in Bain's Barn and the only downside was it was not close enough to the main hotel and there was no wifi in the Barn. On the positive side the staff at the hotel were extremely welcoming and very good at their jobs.

Centre of this historic town
The hotel was central to Tulbagh, a very historic small town about a easy drive from Cape Town. Excellent staff, lovely room especially the shower room. Food very good, varied choice for breakfast and all good value. The whole place had a luxuryeel to it.

A small intimate town with an interesting history - less than 2 hours from cape town, this provided us with a welcome travel break. Hotel Restaurant was excellent - we were looked after extremely well.

A great hotel to stop off and enjoy Tulbagh
The Tulbagh Heritage Boutique Hotel is excellent. I did not like my first night there because the room was very noisy, being above the restaurant, but the second night was sublime as the room was beautiful and situated across the road from the main hotel in a heritage building. The food was very good and I ate at the restaurant twice, and equally the breakfast was delicious - best fresh squeezed orange juice I have had for many a year... Leana the Manager was very efficient and quite delightful. Staff excellent and so helpful. All in all a great stay.

Stay in a traditional dutch cape homestead building and room.
Tulbach offers a view back to the traditional Dutch Cape architecture. The Tulbach hotel offers rooms a traditional Dutch style house right across the street from the main hotel. Nice bed and bedding, bath/shower in room with air conditioning which was good because it was hot. High ceilings in the room. Setting is on main street, but it quiets down in the evening. Hotel offers a dipping pool which was done recently, and common areas include nice reading/living area. They serve food, but also near other town restaurants and shops.

We had a great stay at the hotel for 4 days in December. Nice big room. Really good food and good wines, and even at a very reasonable price. The service at the hotel was excellent and everyone was very helpful.

Schöner Aufenthalt, Zimmer nur durchschnittlich
Unser ursprünglich gebuchtes Zimmer lag - wie alle Hertage Fynbos Rooms - in separatem Gebäude auf der anderen Straßenseite. Es gefiehl uns nicht so sehr (Internetbilder z.T. schöner) und wir wechselten in eines der beiden Proteazimmer direkt über dem Haupteingang (nach Restaurantschluß um 22:00 Uhr ruhig). Da auf der Dorfstrasse abends Typen rumhängen wird man sich freuen, wenn man eine der beiden kostenlosen Garagen bekommen kann. Im Haupthaus befinden sich noch 7 ruhige Standardzimmer und nach hinten raus die Saronberg-Suite. Die Hochzeitssuite geht zur hübschen Churchstreet - dank bodentiefen Fenstern hat man nicht nur einen schönen Ausblick, andere auch einen Einblick ins Zimmer . Zum Frühstück konnten wir 4 Dinge kostenlos aus der Menükarte wählen - neben English Breakfast auch Ungewöhnliches wie Smoothie oder Milchshake (einzeln übertrieben teuer). Wurde alles im netten Patio serviert. Zum Schluß drehten wir noch eine Runde im kleinen Pool mit sehr erfrischendem (=etwas kaltem) Wasser.
