Quiet Spacious Barn
Unfortunately I had an awful week weather wise but the barn was warm, homely and very comfortable - just didn't get to see much of the views due to the fog!!

A wonderful property.
A lovely conversion with everything required for a comfortable and stress free stay. The cottage is spacious, clean, modern and well equipped for two people. Communication with the hosts was great from booking to arrival and they responded immediately to our queries. Highly recommended as a venue for the whole of Cornwall.

Very lovely house
The house was really lovely and atmospheric. Everything needed for our stay was there including fully-equipped kitchen. However, it was difficult to find it in the evening since the whole neighbourhood is dark without any streetlights.

Beautiful little barn conversion. Peaceful, relaxing and ideal location for visiting all areas of Cornwall. Welcome gifts for us and doggy was a lovely touch. Very enjoyable stay in a well equipped cottage. Driveway could be an issue with some cars! Steep and bumpy.

Short End of Summer Break
Set in a lovely tranquil location in central Cornwall. It’s a good hike to the pub and shop but consequently very tranquil. Beautifully and tastefully modernised with everything you could want for an out of the way night within easy driving of Falmouth, Redruth and the coasts.

Lovely place. Very remote which we like. Track to cottage a bit rugged but hey, its in the country. Great base from which to visit various attractions in Cornwall. Lovely views. Nice walk to the village pub in the evening and to the cafe on the reservoir in the morning for a nice caffeine heart starter. Just a shame about the weather! But then this is England. Cold and wet in July! What global warming?

Real Home-from-home Experience!
Cannot recommend The Old Stable highly enough. Lovely, clean, tidy, and beautiful cottage, fabulous comfy bed - we slept so well, and the lovely ‘welcome’ basket was really appreciated when we arrived! Thoroughly recommended for a peaceful stay in the countryside. (The one thing we did do once we found the location of this wonderful hidden gem, was to use ‘what3words’ to get back again when we went out :-)

Incorrect instructions - please pass to owner
Enjoyed our stay but I said I'd email the owner about incorrect route instructions so please pass on the following: 'Take the 2nd left hand turning signposted Trewithen Moor. Follow this road passing Costcutters local Store on your left continue bearing left over bridge take next left turning signposted Trembroath & Trewithen moor' These are the 2 turns that are wrong. They are both right turns rather than left. However thanks to all the rest of the details we found the way easily Many thanks Sue

Rural accommodation
The host was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. The weather was shocking thunder storms and rain for most of the week so we didn’t get chance to enjoy the rear garden. Unfortunately the internet is cable so the weather affected this service throughout our stay and we were unable to access the addition options of Netflix or BBC iplayer. Maybe better advertised as free wi-fi subject to availability. The hot water was piping hot except of the last day however the fuse had blown which the owner sorted quickly. The access road is narrow and the property is about a mile from Stithians where there is a pub and Spar and a Costcutter in the opposite direction.

Property as advertised, lovely and clean, had everything you needed for a self catering stay, a lot of thought been put in by owners, welcome pack contained useful information, lovely views, only downside are the narrow and winding roads to access the property which need careful navigation.

Comfortable accommodations in a quiet, country setting.
Nicely renovated room in a former stable. The space was large for two people with a well-stocked kitchen and washing machine as well. The bed was very comfortable and the location was very quiet. The Old Stable is located in picturesque countryside with options for day hiking down local walking paths.

The property was ideally located to easily to reach local landmarks, beaches and St Ives. It was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The bed had lovely linen and the shower was powerful and hot. Ideal for our little dog and walking out down the lane to the stream ideal for a quick walk. We definitely stay again, thank you.

Idyllic country retreat
If you like seclusion, this is the ideal place. No traffic noise just birdsong. Not the easiest to drive to but close to all the gardens and beaches in West Cornwall. The property is well presented and laid out with all the things you need for a week away.

Quaint, clean, well priced!
The house is a well maintained, private escape down Cornwall lanes, with a nice outdoor area for dogs and clean, modern interior. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the small gift basket on arrival. The only downside was fairly patchy WiFi and TV signal, but given the location I’m not sure too much more could be expected! Overall, enjoyed the stay and would certainly come back - perhaps at a warmer time of the year!

Lovely renovated barn in a very quiet location the property was well equipped tastefully decorated and extremely clean with easy access to Falmouth and Truro the local pub called the Seven Stars served good food and was really friendly we all really enjoyed our stay.
