The property was excellent, clean, modern, great design. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially on my food allergies. Suggest booking a parking space in the underground parking right next to hotel, they share with another hotel as limited parking outside plus gives added security. Although just one night it was a great stop and would book again.

Love the hotel refit much better and feels quite luxurious without the hefty price tag. Only complaint was no mini fridge in room and there was before

cost-cutting re-designed hotel
It has a good location and parking in the hotel’s subterranean car park is easy. Newly redecorated but with some cheap ideas – the bar in the middle of the lobby, with the check-in lady staying on a stool, no mini fridge in the room, and worst of all – no air conditioning in the rooms. The breakfast, arranged around the same overwhelming island bar was good but, in the end, I left feeling sorry for the personnel, forced to work in an awkward cost-cutting re-designed hotel.

Very nice hotel, comfortable and clean rooms, nice breakfast in a very good and walkable location, quite near the city historical center. Parking just crossing the street. I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing stay
We loved staying at the Mercure Hotel in Troyes. The room was very clean and spacious for a family of four and the breakfast was really amazing. Troyes was lovely to explore and next time we will stay for longer

EVERTHING YOU COULD WISH FOR IN A HOTEL
WONDERFUL HOTEL, VERY COMFOTABLE, LARGEST ROOM, BY FAR THE BEST HOTEL OF OUR CURRENT TEN HOTEL TRIP, DESPITE NOT BEING THE MOST EXPENSIVE. WELL LOCATED , EXCELLENT STAFF. FREE PARKING ACROSS ROAD. EASY WAKING DISTANCE OF CITY ATTRACTIONS. I WISH ALL HOTELS COULD BE THIS GOOD.

Very thoughtful - fabulous service!
As my wife has a broken ankle, we asked for a on-site car parking space and got it without any problem - right in front of the hotel. It was a lovely surprise to find that we even got a special, very spacious 'disabled room' without asking - what an excellent service - will go there again - absolutely thoughtful and very much appreciated.

Good overnight stop off
Just an overnight stop on the way back to UK. All good except hardly any staff in the evening and not that easy to get a drink pre or post dinner - not the staffs fault but not enough of them around. We use Mercury all the time and overall they are very good.

Pros: excellent location (just outside main city so it is convenient but still quiet), great shower, good bed, mini refrigerator (big enough for champagne bottles), helpful staff, in hotel bar Cons: no parking on site (but there were free spots and an adjacent paid garage)
