"We had 4 adults in a large chalet (beds for 8 people!). It was very comfortable, and just steps from the lake. We did not use the pool, but we appreciated having the laundry room! Also enjoyed Schnitzeltag at the restaurant!"

"Wow. We stayed for one night outside of Hallstatt. What a beautiful apartment. Loved the espresso machine available and the freshest farm eggs you could ask for. It slept three of us well. We walked into Hallstatt (3.5 miles). It was a lovely and very easy walk to get to Hallstatt. But Obertraun had its own charm. Would definitely recommend in all aspects!! "

"This property was amazing for families. Situated right on the lake with a playground for the kids. The town of Hallstatt was just a short car or boat ride away. We would definitely recommend this place for future stays."

"The resort was nearly perfect. The only draw back was the room distribution , accompanied by seniors , it was very diificult to climb the stairs. It would have been very helpful if one of the bedrooms was in the main floor."

"Lovely place, quiet and accessible walk to town. Go across street to private area, sit and enjoy the lake and mountain view. ONLY PROBLEM room was super hot, no AC and could not leave door open because a few bugs flew in. My husband didn't like that he had to pay for the coffee and bread. The manager was a lovely lady, very helpful. People in the town, not so much! Not engaging at all! "
