City Gardens is an older style motel. That said, our room had everything we like: lots of space, comfortable beds & chairs & a large ensuite. Everything was clean & fragrant. Best of all, the hosts were friendly & obliging. (A special shout-out to Ranjana for her prompt resolution of an issue at check-in. Much appreciated.) We'd happily stay again. :)

I was unfortunately disappointed with my recent stay at this motel. There was no lock on my window. It was noisy, from both traffic and neighbouring rooms. I had a shower in the evening and there was zero hot water. I wouldn't stay here again.

Absolute value for money. The property is very close to A1 and Coles, and the property managers were super-friendly, and supportive. The facilities were good, if you keep in mind that this is a motel, and not a five-star hotel. I'd definitely stay here again, if I'm travelling to Gippsland.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The slope of the shower floor was dangerous even when using the non slip mat and the pipes made loud hammering and squealing noizes which disturbed the next-door occupants
