Clean, comfortable and very friendly
A fantastic experience. The property is gorgeous, the room was private, comfortable (in-room climate control) and exceptionally clean. The proprietors, Michelle and Roger, were welcoming and helpful, guiding me to a great local restaurant for amazing food, a couple adult beverages and relaxing live entertainment. Breakfast was made to order and the coffee was spot on. I will absolutely be back!

Wonderfully restored older home with Avery modern bathroom. Owners were friendly and helpful. I don’t know when I would be back in Tawanda but would definitely stay again.

The owner were just amazing. They made me feel at home. This is far and away the best B n B I have ever stayed at. I love this place. This is the place to feel comfortable and safe. I look forward to going back. Michelle made me feel like family right away and every part of my stay. If I could give them 7 stars I would.

It's a beautiful historic building that has been upgraded in its décor to a level totally unexpected in a small Pennsylvania town. It should be in a magazine. Plus the hosts are caring, fun and interesting. If you're passing anywhere near Towanda it's definitely worth a stopover.

3 Night Stay in Towanda
Breakfast was delicious and home cooked. Loved the large in-ground pool. Immaculate home and very hospitable hosts.

Vintage but all the comforts of home
Very comfortable and in a beautiful old mansion that is really special to see! Nice people make you feel welcome and serve a great breakfast in the morning with homemade maple syrup!

Beautiful home and extremely comfortable beds and delicious breakfast!! The home is convenient in the center of town and we loved the river walk. There is a lot of trucking traffic as it is on route 6 but we didn’t have a problem with the noise in the house - it’s just noisy out walking but it’s a cute town with lots of history so it’s worth reading the signs for the homes on the main road- we would definitely stay again !!

Hatch House is a beautiful property--the stain glass and architectural details make it a pleasure to stay in. Our room was comfortable and clean. But most of all, the owners, Roger and Michelle are lovely and accommodating. We needed a super-early breakfast to-go one morning and Michelle had a breakfast sandwiches, home-made banana bread, and fruit ready for us in a paper bag and to-go coffee cups. One evening, they stayed up chatting with us and sharing drinks. I highly recommend staying here!

We had a one night sleep at the Hatch House while traveling through PA. Right after our reservation, Michelle reached out to me in order to prepare everything for our arrival. The place is beautiful, spacious, clean and very well decorated. In the morning we had coffee and breakfast before continuing our trip. Overall this one was one of the most enjoyable stays with superb service of the host I’ve ever experienced. We’ll be definitely coming back one day. Thank you

Beautiful B&B. Communicating with the host was easy and Michelle is very friendly and welcoming. The room was very spacious, beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed and sparkling clean! The property is very well taken care of, there is a pool however, I did not take advantage of it. Highly recommend the Hatch House if you are in the area.

Beautiful historic home with gorgeous woodwork and fireplaces, with clean and modernized rooms. Innkeepers are friendly and non-intrusive. Pool is immaculate and beautiful, with subtle, colorful lights, undulating in the water at night...a real delight.

The host and hostess were so hospitable, warm and welcoming. The house is beautiful. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. We had a wonderful, comfortable time and would definitely stay with the Hatches again!. We took a beautiful run along the river and ate at the Flying Taco for dinner which was perfect. Thank you!

It was my very first experience in a B&B. I arrived late in the evening even still staff was very pleasant, felt like being at home. I didn’t know how I was going to like it but because of this experience I will be looking for a B&B every time I am out of town for work. I will definitely be booking a room with Hatch House when I am in Towanda, PA. again. You will not be disappointed.

A Wonderful Experience!
I spent over 2-weeks in Towanda on business and my accommodations were flawless. I was greeted by smiling faces and a warm breakfast every morning, and owners Michelle and Roger went out of their way to make my extended stay comfortable, even when the weather had me tact on a few extra nights. By far, this was the best BnB stay I've ever experienced. Now, I'm looking for reasons to return to Towanda, just so I can stay at the Hatch House again.

Simply Lovely
I literally have nothing bad to say about my stay! Michelle was lovely to converse with in the morning over breakfast (which was delicious), and although I only saw Roger in passing, he was kind as well! Their pups are adorable and you'll fall in love with them. My room was lovely and spacious with plenty of privacy, and that shower was amazing! Bed and pillows were comfy too, which is always a huge plus for me. Would absolutely recommend and plan to return when life brings me through Towanda! Oh, and make sure you admire the stained glass going upstairs!

This was such a treat, to stay at the Hatch House. The historic woodwork in the staircase, flooring, ceilings, windows, and fireplaces just blew me away! The hosts were the absolute best, and made us feel right at home. This was the most pleasant place that I have ever stayed. The pool out back was nice and relaxing.

Beautiful Accommodations
The Hatch House is absolutely beautiful! Our room was tastefully decorated with modern touches and upgraded accommodations! The glass shower in the bathroom is gorgeous! All of the little details are what make it extra special..candy in the room, amenities in the bathroom and of course the delicious breakfast! Michelle and Roger are lovely innkeepers! We can't wait to return.

This is simply the finest B&B stay I’ve ever experienced. And I have lodged in many of the nicer B&B’s in Cape May, NJ over the years. If you’re going to be in or around Towanda for an overnight or two, check out these wonderful accommodations and friendly, attentive owners. You won’t regret it.
