The hotel is very basic and simple. Tiny room and bathroom with no amenities, but comfortable enough. We picked this hotel for the location alone because it's in the middle of the city centre and extremely easy to get around.

The hotel was easily accessible and located in the centre of Torshavn. Breakfast was really good, room comfortable had no complaints.

Excellent hotel centrally located in Torshavn
Very comfortable rooms, just a few minutes walk from the harbour in Torshavn. Rooms were surprisingly spacious, and very clean. Blackout curtains kept the midnight sun at bay. Breakfast was included and was surprisingly plentiful for Denmark (more like a Swedish smorg). Overall, wonderful stay.

Hotel is right downtown. There is no hotel parking. You have to park on street or a few blocks away but not a real issue. i indicated had no soap twice on sink side (shower side is okay) but no one added soap. Pillows were supper soft so if you dont like soft pillows bring something to support that. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was friendly.

Overbooked and not contacted
When we arrived to check in, we were told that the hotel was overbooked and we were moved to another hotel not in the location we would have opted for. That said, the staff was helpful in calling us a taxi to the new hotel and also for calling the taxi we had coming to pick us up for an extremely time sensitive appointment. They said they tried to call us, but while I received other calls, texts and emails that day, I did not receive any notification about the overbooking. The hotel, or Hotels.com should have gotten in touch w me when they knew they were overbooked. And what's the point of making a reservation if it is going to not be honored?

Trevlig personal och hotell.
Det var jättetrevligt, bra mottagning vid incheckning, bra frukost, bra med utrymmen i rummen. Ända man skulle önska att kanske åtminstone bli tillfrågad om man vill ha nya hand/baddukar när man stannar 3/4 dagar.

Bon hôtel à Torshvan
Séjour de 5 jours aux îles Féroé. Hôtel bien situé à Torshvan à 10 minutes de marche de l'arrêt de bus de l'aéroport et des ferries, 5 minutes du centre. Très propre, petit déjeuner agréable et chambre spacieuse.

Läge bra men städ och frukost rätt dåligt
Rummet som sådant litet men helt ok. Dock ett lite märkligt system med städning av rummen som inte funkade. Man skulle hänga ut en lapp på dörren när man ville ha städning, tömning av papperskorgar etc, vilket kan tyckas vara bra (detta behövs inte varje dag normalt sett) men då ska det också fungera - det gjorde det inte. Vi hade lappen uthängd under flera dagar innan det blev något städ. Frukosten lämnade en hel del över att önska, om man inte var först på plats så kunde man inte vara säker på att det fanns några grönsaker eller frukt kvar. Överlag en väldigt torftig och snål frukost.

Recommendation. You won't be disappointed
Spent 3 nights here and had no complaints really. It is maybe a bit modest (e.g. no fridge) but most parts it's very nice. Friendly staff, good breakfast, shop right next to it and the location is very centered. Heating was a bit weird and the room very hot when arriving but nothing a little window opening won't fix.
