We booked this B&b as a last minute getaway, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived...our room was exceptional with everything you want for an overnight stay, the proprietors were extremely helpful and we felt very comfortable & relaxed during our stay...Breakfast was also excellent! would totally recommend this place!

The Excellent Tyndale Hotel
The Tyndale Hotel was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble and the standard of the room was excellent. I have recommended this hotel to several people already and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Daniel and Andy are excellent hosts who made us feel very welcome and for whom nothing was too much trouble. Our room was extremely comfortable and the new bathroom was spotlessly clean and well stocked with luxurious towels and high quality bath products. The bed was a pleasure to sleep in and gave me one of the best nights rest I've had during my trip around the south west. The breakfasts were delicious and freshly cooked to order. I would highly recommend Tyndale Guest House and would definitely stay again the next time I visit Torquay.

Excellent accommodation and service, very friendly hosts who go the extra mile with a lot of attention to detail when it comes to room extras and looking after guests. The rooms are comfortable, clean, soundproof and very well presented. Breakfast is also very good.

The Tyndale is a little Gem! As a business traveller I'm used to staying in the usual dull corporate chains but am now looking for something more personal but with all the comforts - the Tyndale delivers in all aspects - I stayed in a lovely room, spacious and warm with much more comfort than most chains. Spotlessly clean with plenty of tea and coffee and fresh milk for a change! Toiletries a plenty and a quality bathroom with soft fluffy towels. a delicious home cooked breakfast and the hosts are charming. The Tyndale gives value for money a whole new perspective for me and I shall definitely return when in the area again. The high guest ratings are totally deserved.

Stayed for 2 nights with my wife, ( I worked she shopped!! ). The Tyndale is an absolute gem of a place, fantastic breakfast, spotlessly clean throughout, and the hosts Daniel & Andy were brilliant. Couldn't fault the place, best hotel of it's size by far. Will stop again without a doubt. Get room 3 if you can it's fabulous.

We enjoyed 2 nights stay with Andy and Daniel. The decor is a credit to them and their hospitality and attention to detail was wonderful. The B&B was spotlessly clean and our room was bright and airy. Our breakfasts were wholesome and fresh and we left there feeling relaxed and happy. We would recommend this establishment to anyone. We had a ground floor room which was a plus when travelling with large bags.

Arrived to a warm welcome and was showed around are room. The room was lovely and meet all our needs :) had a wonderful nights sleep. The owners were very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. All the other reviews tell the story of how good this place is and they are right but as a business man I often get hotels saying WiFi in your room and fast broadband and it never is BUT this was great and I was able to work from my room with good connection and fast speed, so will be back.

We stayed at The Tyndale for three nights in August and would definitely return in the future. The hosts, Andy and Daniel were great, really attentive and helpful. The rooms were very clean and spacious with nice décor and the breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. The guesthouse was close to the beach and town centre and had the added bonus of Wi- Fi and off street parking. Will definitely visit again.

A friendly, welcoming hotel which is beautifully decorated. The owners are hugely helpful and full of local information. It's location is great for exploring all areas of Torbay and a short walk to the centre of Torquay. We were a young couple and would most definitely stay here again and would recommend it to everyone. Very happy with our stay!
