Great welcome by Rose. Everything about the place is good. Bus stops outside the house. Great breakfast and the place is very clean and in good condition. Can’t fault it-perfect abundant tea coffee and chocolate in the room
Lovely clean, airy, stylish room and en suite. Food was excellent, owners made you feel very welcome and comfortable. Very helpful as well. Would stay again, lovely place
Nothing was too much trouble, the owner was very friendly & helpful. The off street parking was a bonus, and there is a bus that runs regularly to the front. Although the accommodation is on a busy road there was no traffic noise at night. Breakfast consists of the standard fayre, all served by a very pleasant & cheerful young lady, the owners daughter. I would de finely recommend this place to anyone.
Lovely guest house proprietors very welcoming. Happy to help in whatever capacity.
We had our 18 month grandson & 13 yr old god daughter both treated like royalty.
Family room shower room too small.
The hotel is in excellent condition. Very clean and tidy and well decorated. Mark, Rose and Jade are all excellent, very nice and friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great and the room was very nice, comfy and clean. Would definitely stay and recommend to anyone.
Very pleasant atmosphere and located close enough to walk to the town centre. Rooms were of decent size and quality.

Good seaside B&B
This was a one night business stay. I went at a quiet time so despite being a busy seaside town there was adequate parking. The hotel in itself was fine; clean, tidy and presentable. My room was adequate, a good size, the bed comfortable and bathroom up to standard. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of it and good quality. I have stayed in a lot of seaside hotels and for the B&B market this is one of the good ones. I would definitely stay again
This is the second time I have stayed at Silverlands and this stay was even better than the first. The room was spotless, breakfast was lovely, plenty to eat, and the lovely couple who run this hotel were so nice and always made sure we had everything we needed. Bull & Bush pub around the corner did fabulous food too. I travelled with my husband & 12 year old son who also out of all the hotels we stayed in over 3 days rated this as the best...think that was down to the breakfast myself
Pros: Very warm and welcoming hosts...! The room was clean and well maintained and the b&b is a short walk from the sea front and town centre. Also, the bus stop is right outside the hotel if you don't fancy a walk.
Cons: The cots were not the best in class. Having said that, we slept well and it was no issue at all but they are very light and anyone sitting on the edge or slightly leaning would end up disturbing the furniture as the cots are very very light. we had to make a conscious effort to sit down rather gingerly to stop them moving about.
Hosts were friendly, helpful & personable. Our ground floor room was immaculate & comfortable. Breakfast was great as we were able to order exactly what we wanted. Excellent.
We were glad we picked Silverlands for our stay. Hosts were extremely welcoming and lovely folks. Gave us lots of tips on where to go, what to see.. which made our trip quite wonderful.
We would highly recommend the place
The hosts were very friendly . I would recommend it and comeback myself .

Friendly
Needs blow heaters in bathroom even in summer showering and coming out into a coldroom is not nice. Also cold in main room no summer heater to take away chilly evening. Small settee or armchair in room would be good noisey road traffic early hours even sundays 06.00
Just back from a 4 night stay at Silverlands. Great little find; fab family room for 2 adults and a teen and tweenager. A bed each which is a welcome change from a sofa bed or pull out! Breakfast was great, nothing was too much trouble for the owners Sam and Pete. Thank you for a great stay and we'll see you again if we're visiting Torquay.
This was our second time at this hotel, Friendly welcome, Comfortable clean room, Awesome Breakfast, Nothing too much trouble for the owners Peter and Samantha, Highly recommended for short, and long stay breaks. We will be back!
The property was lovely very convent to a small pub to bet a nice dinner at a great price, but the best part was the host she was so friendly and organised the property was immaculate, and it's was such an easy experience to have, breakfast was great would highly recommend a stay
Cheers Carmel
Great little place to stay, nice clean rooms, good reception area and breakfast room, short walk to the town. Thanks to the staff for a fab stay, they gave us lots of useful info on where to eat out and places to visit. Lovely cooked breakfast each morning, many thanks.
After several B & B in the last 16 days the Silverlands has set the standard for our next B & B experience which I think will never be attained. If you get the chance, go spoil yourself and enjoy everything about the Silverlands. Thanks Richard for a wonderful experience.
Sam and Pete were fantastic hosts, breakfast was fantastic an they even provided gluten free bread for those in our group who were intolerant. Thanks for a great stay we would certainly recommend silverlands.
Lovely stay with excellent room for the family, hosts were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Overall an excellent bed and breakfast that would highly recommend
The hotel.com website when we booked did not state that our bathroom was not en-suite. It is in fact two doors away although only you have the key to it. Sam and Pete were very apologetic and have tried their best to sort this out as they have experienced this issue before with guests. I still believe the website is misleading as it is now entitled as above whilst all others actually state en-suite. Maybe it is just me assuming too much. As long as you are aware it is not a problem and we had a lovely stay with very friendly genuinely interested hosts.
I stayed at Silverlands for a wedding at Torre Abbey which is only approx 10 minute walk away. The lady owner was exceptionally welcoming and also had no problem with us checking in early with late notice. The room was well presented and clean, bed was comfy. Breakfast and service at breakfast was outstanding. I highly recommend Silverlands to any visitor.
