Thank you for your feedback on Expedia. It seems you had a pleasant stay apart from the bed. Please let me know which room you stayed in so I may investigate. Look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Many thanks.....Mike

Thank you for reviewing us on Expedia following your visit to the Copley in December. It is great to know that you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
Nice pub, but allowed dogs in the pub, whichwe dont like. Room was adequet but small for a double and no chair in room. The other rooms looked better than room 1 ( only noticed this on the last day )and better fitted. We appeared to be the only ones in on the first night and had booked for 3 nights so would have expected a better room, particularly as we booked a week in advance and were charged £30 more than thoses booking on the day we arrived.
We stayed at the Copley arms for 2 nights on business what can I say it's a mixed bag of a review
The food was excellent but there were a lot of flies and we had to move table.
The pub-hotel is a typical English pub with great beers on tap
The rooms were a bit dated the bathroom was nice but the water pressure in the shower wasn't great and also switched off for a while in the middle of a shower.
Breakfast was at 8.30am which is a bit late as we start early but the hotel did make us a packed lunch to take with us which was great.
Feeding the fish in the river next to pub was great .
There isn't much around to explore other than that

Thank you for your feedback after your recent visit to the Copley. We can usually accomodate guests for breakfast from 8.00 am but 8.30 is the usual time for holiday guests.I appreciate your comments about flies which have been unusually active probably due to the warmer climate and of course being close to the river. Lots of our neighbours report the same. I know this doesn't help but we have been trying hard to control it. I am really pleased you enjoyed the food and hopefully you will return sometime in the future.
Many thanks Mike
Stayed for 2 nights whilst in Cornwall for a wedding. Lovely country inn with river running through grounds and very pretty flowers. A variety of places to sit outside near the river or by the inn and a playground for small children. Very friendly staff. Good beer, lager and cider on tap. Room comfortable and clean with a ceiling fan to help keep us cool in what was unusually hot weather. Excellent All Cornish Breakfast with prompt service from the owner. 15 minutes from wedding venue by taxi, which he ordered for us - always uses reliable companies that are fair to the customers. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Reasonable price.
Poss a old coatching inn.with lots of charm,so don't think that you are going to stay in a modern build ,,,great spot only 4 miles from looe and about 6 miles from Plymouth .....enjoyed my stay .....nice people....
