"Very kindly the exceptional concierge left the key for us after travel cancellation meant we were very late arriving. Good friendly service and a lovely view over the harbour. NZ is expensive so the cost was not out of line with other properties. I would recommend it. We got the penultimate free room so obviously it is v popular. "

"This hostel is great. It's a little out of the way if you don't have a car, but the bus is only $3 from the airport and it's only an 11 minute walk. They have chocolate pudding every evening at 8pm. *(for Americans, it's not milky, liquidy pudding, but baked "pudding".) It gets pretty cold in the fall/winter. "Fantastic place to stay for the price. Room was big and beds were comfy. The free laundry was a blessing as we have a 10mknth old baby so was nice to be able to use that. Inly real down sides were car parking is very very tricky they are small and its a bit of a trick to get in and out. Also there was no heater or heating in the room for us to use. Otherwise would definitely stay again"
