Hi Brian. Sorry the powerpoints were such a problem. Unfortunately that is something I cannot fix and they are easy to access once you know they are there. The property is an older motel but so are a lot of the motels in Toowoomba. It is however clean and comfortable and I have only owned it for a month so refurbishing will be done but not straight away obviously.Thanks for your review. Take care.

Hi Robert & Patricia. Thank you for your kind review score. We are aware this an older motel but that does not mean furnishings need replacing. So many older buildings are refurbished and lose their character. As long as it is clean and comfortable it should not matter that it is older.The shower and bathroom floors are cleaned daily by my housekeepers with a product recommended by a tile doctor. Toowoomba has very harsh water and it stains everything so it does not need a thorough clean as it gets it constantly. I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed your breakfast. It is a motor inn and not a resort so it is meant to be a room and a bed for the night. What else did you expect? Strange you say our beds are not comfortable when lots of guests have commented on how comfortable they are. Each to their own though.Firstly I'd like to say that you had a family room and they are 2 of our older rooms so you wouldn't know what the other rooms look like to comment on when the place was last renovated. Yes we are an older motel but pride ourselves on being a clean, comfortable and friendly motel. My cleaners DO NOT smoke outside of rooms and never have, they have a corner more than 4 metres away from the rooms where they are entitled to have a cigarette whether you are a smoker or not.Perhaps anything you found under the bed was yours as that room was left in a pig sty and took my cleaner forever to get it back to clean after you left plus the plastic door shelf on the new fridge in that room was snapped in half. Lucky I didn't charge for the damage. I highly recommend you look elsewhere next time too as you suggested. Lynne - Manager
