suite condition
We have stayed here many times but not like this. On arrival the suite was untouched as far any cleaning towels beds garbage etc. We contacted the manager who found a cleaner and after arriving for a 5:00 checkin did not get in it till 8:15.

Good location close to beach
The location was great, and we liked the way the place was decorated. However, the bedroom smelled like teenage boys. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and most of the linens were not very clean. That bedroom needs a new carpet, new bed, new sheets, curtains, comforter and pillows, and a deep professional cleaning. We stayed at two other houses o. This trip that were less expensive and way better appointed and clean! Loved the close walk to the beach though!

Was a great location but a few things at the condo could be improved. The pillows on the bed are very 'tired', some shampoo & conditioner would have been nice, the ice machine was broken in the fridge alrhough there were a few trays in the freezer. We like lots of ice for our beverages so we went into town to buy a bag of ice. The washing machine had old laundry left in it as well as the dryer which had a bunch of towels in it from the previous clients. The great location was definitely the highlight!!

Fabulous Retreat
The location is amazing and the complex is really quiet and peaceful. The unit was clean and well stocked. Very comfortable to stay in- we didn’t want to leave! It was great being so close to the beach. Would absolutely stay here again!

So wonderful to come back to stay at this lovely, very cozy condo where my husband & I fell in love.
Very warm when we checked in late on the cold winter evening. Very easy to contact the host. Everything thing was the same as remembered from our stay in 2006.

We’ve stayed here a number of times and find it the perfect place for a few days of retreat from urban life. Well-appointed with easy access to South Chesterman beach, it feels like our “home away from home.” We will be back!

Perfect Location on South Chesterman Beach
My spouse and I have been to Tofino many times and the location of this unit is awesome. It’s a quick walk to the beach and you are away from the noise. It was our toddler’s first time at Tofino and the unit was perfect for him. He wasn’t able to destroy anything and there was plenty of hooks out front to hang his clothes that got soaked at the beach. He loved running on Chesterman Beach. This rental is perfect for a family of 4 or 2 couples. Caretaker was always available to assist us with any needs.

Older, somewhat dated condo. Wood floors are seriously in need of refinishing/replacing. Kitchen well equipped but cupboards/drawers cluttered. Short walk to beach. Private patio (view of hedge).

Great mid week getaway. Everything you need is there, plus some. Love the location, the comfy bed, the nice deck, the open kitchen & the deep tub. We really appreciated a full kitchen with everything you need to cook a nice meal (grater, garlic press, roast pan etc)

South Chesterman Townhouse
We have stayed in this complex multiple times over the past fifteen years and have never been disappointed. This townhouse is well appointed and perfect for a couple who want to be self-sufficient while they are visiting. The glorious South Chesterman Beach is only a five minute walk away.

Wonderful stay
We always love staying at South Chesterman Beach Condos and this trip was no exception. This unit is more secluded and quieter than the other units because it is set further back on the property. No one walking around out front the unit which is nice. Great selection of DVDs (3-4 full drawers!) but could use a few kids/youth selections to make it a really amazing collection.

Great location if you can't stay right on the beach
The communication with Torben was excellent - he was always extremely responsive. The unit was very clean and as mentioned by previous visitors, had pretty much everything you would need if cooking in. There were lots of towels available and a nice large soaker tub to relax in after a windy, rainy walk on the beach. My only comment would be that the pillows on the bed could have been better as they were fairly flat and lifeless. There is a stone path through the complex that leads directly to the beach with chairs available if you want to enjoy the view. The weather was pretty stormy so we didn't stop and sit but it was nice to know they were available. We also took advantage of the Tikki Bus when we went for dinner one night at Wolf in the Fog - it was great to have the option. All in all it was a great 3 day break.

Beach access
This condo is very well equipped and a comfortable place to stay close to Tofino. We liked the short walk to the beach to watch the waves roll in and the surfers trying their skills. After a a couple of chilly wet hikes it was lovely to soak in the big tub and then sit in front of the fire to warm up. It was a great base to explore the area.

This place was great ! Convenient and quiet and easy , very clean cozy place, management was great and they answered my calls and text whenever I needed something. Few min walk to the beach and 5-8m drive into City center Tofino. Thank you again for a great stay!

Fantastic vacation
We had a great time at this condo. I think it is bigger than it looks in the photos. It was very well stocked for cooking--couldn't think of an extra thing we had to buy except for food. The location is amazing. It is literally a 2 min walk to Chesterman Beach. We really enjoyed our stay, and we hope to be back again.

This is a little gem! Great location...just minutes from the beach. The apartment has everything you need. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with every pot, utensil, dish you could need. The place was clean and quiet and exactly what we were after. Highly recommended!
