"From arrival to departure, our stay was everything we hoped for and more besides. Perfect location and facilities within the complex are excellent. We came for a relaxing, time for us break and that’s exactly what we got. Left feeling relaxed, reconnected and happy. We will definitely be back."

Nice cottage.
"This was a nice cottage but the beds were very uncomfortable. The mattress was thin and felt like you were sleeping on the metal. I was not comfortable here and did not stay the entire time that I booked for."

"We were marooned in the Kames Hotel when excessive rain, flooding and landslides closed all the roads out. We could not manage to get to the wedding we had come to attend (neither could the celebrant, hairdresser, makeup artiste..) but we sat in all our finery with glass in hand beside a roaring ..."

Ferry terminal right behind property, very handy as we visited Tarbert. Only negative was the single track road to Portavadie -albeit with passing areas - quite hairy, especially when large logging wagons use the same road, and this was the A road!
