"My friend and I had a lovely stay here last night. We arrived in the afternoon and were warmly welcomed by Karen. We were really well looked after by Karen and her team and nothing was too much trouble. Our twin room was lovely and the beds really comfortable with lovely touches in the bathroom in case we had forgotten anything. "Nice enough staff. The pub looked like a 1970’s Benidorm recreation of a British pub with a ceiling full of beer mats. Food was ok but a little overpriced for pub grub. The outside area was filthy. The doors to the outbuildings that house the rooms were ramshackle. The rooms themselves looked like they were last decorated about 30 years ago. The TV was a 20 year old mini tv with free view that didn’t hold the signal. Neither tv or kettle had a PAT testing sticker. The bathroom was grubby...

"Toilet was slightly dirty, which is not acceptable especially during the current pandemic. Room was dingey and walls dirty, decor in bathroom particularly poor. One tap very stiff to turn. Annoyingly woken in middle of night by loud people around. Not a decent overall stay and we wouldn't stay again, nor recommend it."
