"This is a wonderful old village pub with excellent food, great service and a larger than life Landlord. We stayed one night here, were made very welcome and enjoyed the great choices of dishes for our evening meal before a roaring log fire. The Whitby Scampi and chips followed by traditional 'Spotted Dick and custard was served very quickly and was delicious.
