Very nice hotel, in excellent location within 10 minutes walk of a very vibrant bar and restaurant area. Easy walk to Upper Town and the Station for day trip out to Edessa. Nice breakfast an great reception staff. The Expedia organised airport transfer limousine company was great too

The location is excellent because it is within 5 minutes of the tourist based promenade walk, a rich variety of restaurants and nightlife and transport. I suffered the massive inconvenience of having my wallet stolen on the public bus from the airport. Therefore, I recommend that visitors take advantage of the taxi service offered by the hotel. Once I had discovered my loss in my hotel room, the staff could not have been more helpful and obliging. They offered sound concrete advice and practical help. Especial mention must be made to the Manager and his 2 assistants Nikos and Konstandinos: I remain eternally grateful! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice but oldy rooms
The room 407 had no boiler or tea bags or coffee but when we asked from reception we received it. Wall coverings were very old and dismantled from the walls there was also big yellow spot of wet in child room. Air suction in toilet was very loud, cannot sleep with it. Breakfast was good, service was great! So overall nice.

Sorry, not for us…
The images give the impression of a fairly palatial hotel. In reality, it’s really tired. Lack of investment shows. The rooms are noisy in the mornings. Generally the place is small and doesn’t have the facilities you’d expect from a 4 star hotel. We didn’t enjoy breakfast either. The only pro was that staff were kind, polite and professional.

What you saw in the famous pictures on the websites are lessons from the last century, the hotel today is old and outdated... Very small rooms, not equipped, not suitable for a 4-star hotel. Upon arrival at midnight, we were greeted by a charming and welcoming guy, who helped us with everything we asked for. Despite the mistake made by them, he tried to find solutions, but in vain... The next day we changed to a bigger room, according to the room we booked in the original reservation, and we were treated unfriendly. Very basic breakfast.

Quick stop on our long, multi-location family trip. Staff was friendly and helpful, our room was clean, as well as hotel lobby and dining area. It really worked well for our one night stay. It's an older, outdated hotel in desperate need of an update. I think they have a sister hotel nearby that's relatively new. I highly recommend for a short stay (one or two nights) but would look for something more updated for a longer stay.

Gorgeous boutique hotel. The staff was amazing, and the location was perfect for walking to all the places we wanted to visit. I can't say enough about the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. Things can get pretty dusty in Greece over the summer so keeping things clean can be a challenge. Also, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were roomy.

Good hotel. Outstanding location.
Very comfortable hotel. The staff was outstanding. The room was spacious with nice amenities. What makes me give this hotel an excellent rating is its superb location. Everything is very close. Tons of food spots, pharmacies, and shopping. The main bus station can be walked to (12-18 minute walking). Tourist sites are in reasonable walking distance. Had a very nice stay here.

Hard floors, plumbing and doors slamming made it a very noisy place. Overall very much in need of an upgrade. No tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. In addition shortly after booking I was invited to bid for an upgrade. Did so and was awarded one. Somehow not surprised to realise that I was not given an upgrade.

I enjoyed the view from my 6th floor room, the balcony to sit in when would eat my supper from the corner market, enjoyed the sounds of the city but was super quiet in the from with the thick balcony door shut. Charming decoration, Christmas tree and angels in the lobby. Marble bathroom, deep tub. Local parking garage on Ptolemion around the corner was affordable and friendly staff. Great location as far as seeing monuments. Can't say enough good things. Will stay there again.

Nice place with flaws
Nice hotel a bit away from the tourist attractions. If you are only staying briefly, you might consider a hotel a bit closer to them. The rooms were nice and clean, and there were plenty of restaurants in the area. One majornflaw in these Corona times: They could be better at enforcing masks in the breakfast and reception area.

Week in the city
Decided to see the city before the weather gets too hot, Good location for exploring the city, easy walking distance of most shops restaurants etc. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good. Our room faced the street so a bit noisy.

Accessibility!
The hotel is rightfully situated in the city - walking distance to everything. A Greek 1938 bakery is just a corner away where the best trivia can be found and the owner is very friendly. Hotel staff are very helpful and breakfast food is of assortment. They even packed our take away 6 am breakfast!
