"Last minute booking as Hotels.com had double booked me and was stranded after driving 2 hours to get to original booking. Healing Manor is a character building which has all that you need with a restaurant, bar area and nice garden area...i do question the '36 Acre' manicured gardens statement as this is limited to outside the restaurant area unless clambering around the overgrown areas by the pond area is part of this. Generally a very good stay, unfortunately there was a wedding booked in with the only room available was behind the reception/function with some sound ingress of music, this was tolerable given the lateness of booking on the day."

"I love this hotel it’s probably the 4th time now but please sort out the showers and the room is too hot, if you invested in air conditioning and some better showers I think you would easily be 4 star not 3 "

"Amazing place! Stayed in a spa room and it was lovely. Bed was the best I've ever had in a hotel, great view of the lake and close to the bar, restaurant & spa. Both the restaurant and bar were very friendly, lovely food in the restaurant. Would definitely visit again"
