"Myself and husband stayed here whilst away celebrating our wedding anniversary. We visited Portmerion nearby and this hotel was situated not far from there. Staff were very friendly throughout our stay. On our arrival they showed us to our room. The room was huge,as was the en-suite. The room was very clean had all we needed for our stay. We chose to dine at the hotel and we were not disappointed! We both had steak for main and agreed it was possibly the best steak we had ever eaten and was it cooked to perfection. Breakfast in the morning did not disappoint either. Located in Snowdonia the surrounding scenery was just stunning. I would happily return to the hotel and would recommend as a place to stay for friends and family visiting the area. Thank you for a truly lovely stay."

"Set in a lovely quiet location but only a short drive away from Porthmadog and other places to visit. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the room, comfortable and perfect for my requirements. A buffet breakfast with a good selection to choose from and dinner in the restaurant came piping hot. Such a delight. I took a short walk within the grounds finding a few hidden gems plus a view of the mountains. "

"Beautiful setting. Great hosts. Wonderful hotel dog. Comfortable room. Delicious breakfast whether we choose the included continental or the optional menu order. Mountains all around, river flowing close by with nice path for our evening walk. Village close by for dinner options. Easy drive for hiking from the passes and sightseeing in Caernarfon and Conwy and points between and around."

"The place is a delight. Well designed & well equipped bedrooms and a checkin process using WhatsApp which is highly efficient. Good breakfast you can collect and walk a few yards back to bed. Only think I could find remotely needing improvement was supplying the breakfast milk in an open jug rather than a cooler of some type I read through the few negative reviews and would agree with the owners comments in each case "
