Very well maintained and supplied property. It was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. We were supplied with a little bottle of whole fresh milk for tea on checkin. Rooms were spacious. There were hangers for our clothing. Hosts were nice. I loved the heat lamp in the bathroom as it gets cold at night when I like to bathe. Perfect for our one night stay!

Nice, large room
The gentleman checking us in was direct and no nonsense. We had a great room with lots of space, facing a grassy area. Large living room type area with double bed couch, kitchenette, and dining room table. Lots of windows with Laundry was convenient--$5 covers wash with detergent and dryer.

Easy check-in. Spacious and clean room. A little traffic noise can be heard but closing the window helped. The steakhouse a few buildings down has great steaks!

Highly recommend this as a place to stay for a night or two between Taupo and Wellington! Spacious room, close to a great restaurant, the Rustic Steakhouse, and equipped with clean, modern conveniences.

This was our second time staying. The room was huge and very comfortable. Parking right in front of our room amd a fantastic restaurant called the Rustic Steak House is just next door.

Firstly I paid extra for 4 people to stay, lucky I rang up the day before as they had us in a room that sleeps 3. They sorted that by putting us in two rooms next to each other, which was great, teengaers were very happy. I go to have a shower, luke warm water, i figure thats ok, I'll have one in the morning they must have run out. No, it is stone cold, I go to the office 'oh that has never happened before', turns out the whole block has cold water. I do not have time to wait around for that to be fixed. All I get is a sorry. I have emailed the motel direct, no response, so a bad review for them, which I never do, I am usually pretty tolerant.

Staff went over and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, the rooms were lovely and clean, it really felt like home away from home. Would highly recommend and cant wait to stay again!
