Yuck

Posted 08-Sep-2014
Front desk staff were rude at check including speaking to each other (obviously about us) in Spanish. Later another staff member propositioned my husband, stating he was so "guapo" and that she was free to meet up w/ him later if he was interested. Horrible location. I will never choose a hotel based only on price again!

Great place to stay if you are planning a visit to the Tacoma Dome. Taxi ride to the dome is about $10. Owing to massive amout of people seeking taxi service and heavy traffic after the event, we chose to walk the 2.2 miles back to hotel. This would not be appropriate in foul weather but is doable.

Budget Accomodation

Posted 19-Aug-2014
Typical of the Motels built in the 70,s. Location close to Port of Tacoma attracts lots of transient truckers and this place is a perfect fir for them. Not exactly a family friendly atmosphere. Cheap room rate - you get what you pay for. Okay for a pass thru if you aren't easily offended by coarse language.

Hotel in Port Tacoma

Posted 19-Aug-2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: improve the booking system and Internet service
Location: gas stations and other motels
We arrived at the motel around 6-7 pm, the receptionist checked the system and informed us there's no room, although I have booked for three rooms in advanced. While waiting, I heard the other guests were complaining about the wireless inter that it's slow and intermittently disconnected. The reception did not try to resolve the issue, but just simply say no room left, system was probably down during the time of booking (which was Tuesday.) I did not waste time talking to the receptionist, but luckily, across from this place, there's Rodeway Inn, so we switched there instead. I highly recommend to call before getting to this motel to avoid disappointment and waste of time, especially traveling with kids.

HEMPDEST 2014 WE OUT HERE

Posted 18-Aug-2014
Stay was decent. Would have been unpleasant if I didn't go to hempfest each day of the stay. Room was clean for the most part. Good room for one or two night stay but any longer than that and you'll feel like a gross homeless person. Anyway, peace out from your boy J. This room was great ✌

Fife, Wa - Hwy 99.

Posted 18-Aug-2014
Pros: Location. Close to freeway.
Location: Did not have time to do much around hotel although casino is just minutes away.
Chose hotel for location. Will choose another if I am in the same situation again. Needed to request shower curtain as there wasn't one attached to shower when I checked in. Everything worked, including mocrowave and small refrigerator. TV went out during stay, but was easily fixed. Carpets were dirty, and establishment smelled like cigerette smoke. Was not in room too much but would stay elsewhere next time.

Stay only as last resort! Not recommended!

The hotel staff in check in was friendly. Excellent buffet style breakfast. Room smelled foul like cleaned floors that never dried. Bed old and warn, still have bruises from the matress springs. Long term residents appeared shady. Slept lightly with car alarm activated twice during night. Hotel attempts to be cleanly, as hotel staff friendly. The accommodation is best stated as at least I was laying flat after 16 hours in a car. We survived without incident.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Need put chair in the room, room too small for 2 queen bed, need wi-fii
Location: closed to gas station, freeway 5.
No Wi-fii in the room & I report to front desk, but costumer service couldn't do anything.
