There was very little to like about the property other than it was convenient to what we wanted to do .The room we stayed in was below advertised expectations. There was no sound insulation between other residents. The parking was free if you want to be caught behind other residents.

Clean. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Close to public transport, restaurants, shops, bus to Olympic park. Wifi kept dropping out and was almost useless.

It was a nice place to have a stop over I did not want a big motel as they are to noisy. This place is clean and very quiet and we stay each time we are in Sydney.

Didn’t get the room we paid for. The upstairs guess were up all night and could hear them like a herd of elephants. The front door was propped open all night (probably by a guest) so felt unsafe and anyone could have walked in. Will not be returning.

The location is excellent with short walks to a regional shopping centre and the city train. If you like to self cater, this is conveniently appointed, including a shared kitchen and sitting room. We had no trouble parking and the street environment is pleasant and quiet. Rooms have adequate space and facilities for a short stay and staff were friendly and unobtrusive.

Very strange place. Definitely not what we were expecting from the listing. It was a room on the external wall of what looked like a house, in a residential street. The bathroom was beyond tiny and almost unusable. Both of us decided not to shower the second day because the floor of the shower was slimey. Beds were comfy though.

Location is close to everything you need. Room appearance is outdated. The wash basin in the bathrooms is small and you should watch your head when bending down to wash your face! Had my head hit the glass shelf a few time! Overall stay was ok.

I had booked the smaller of the 2 rooms & when I arrived it was not available. Being 8pm, I just wanted to get into a room & relax. The reception said he could give me the larger room for an additional fee. I was too tired to argue & paid extra for the room. One would think that because I wasn't at fault he would just upgrade free of charge. Pretty sad really.

Close to where we needed to be. Great value clean room with comfortable beds. Security of the building is the only thing that could be improved on. In saying that Boronia Lodge is in a nice neighbourhood and we had no problems at all. Note all rooms have locks.

Really quiet. Warm bed. very roomy. Very grateful to Frank for letting me change the date,but we were expecting to pay $135 and ended up being charged $190 for a bigger room. Will book directly with the place if staying there in future

I like the location (walking distance from shopping, bus and train) and the ambience of the old house. The renovations are tasteful, especially the tile work and the paintings/prints/pictures on the walls. I like the use of fragrance diffusers to keep the air fresh throughout. Bathrooms are kept clean. The cooking facilities were sufficient (microwave, kettle and toaster in the single room; those three plus electric cook top in the unit with extra separate bedroom). The latter room had sufficient saucepans, frying pans, crockery and cutlery. Could have done with teatowel in each room. Room 8 had no bowls or teaspoons.

I wouldn't recommended this place
We were left standing in the dark and cold unto somebody opened the door. Then left outside in the cold and dark until confirmed. Given the wrong room then moved later to another room. The manager was very rude and accommodating. Bed was very uncomfortable. Bench top was filthy, stale milk that had dried out want cleaned. Wouldn't recommend this place and way over priced!

The room was nicely decorated and comfortable and the kitchenette well appointed The shared bathroom shower tiles could do with a good scrub and our blanket was stained. The complimentary first day's breakfast was very meager, just a single serve of cereal and a small carton of UHT milk and there were only 3 teabags and a few sugar satchels . Otherwise fine and our reception was good , the host was very helpful with the parking . The bed was very comfortable.
