Great location, spacious apartment.
We loved our stay at Beachcomber. It’s in a great location, easy walk to restaurants and bars at the wharf and a short walk to the main strip. We stayed in a bottom level 2 bed, 2 bath unit which was really spacious with a large paved courtyard out front. Barbecue, outdoor table and sun lounges in the courtyard we’re great. Full kitchen with cooking facilities. It was only a few steps down from the courtyard to the beach entrance, or out to the beachside walkway. The pool area is nice and clean with plenty of space. The Manager was very helpful with great communication, made check in very easy. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

The location is excellent, right near the beach, and close to cafes & restaurants. The property is a little dated and some rooms have the bare minimum in terms of furnishings, but everything was clean and the basics were covered. The TVs / access to Foxtel, etc. could be improved.

The apartment was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The beach is just a quick 100 walk through the dunes, and shops and cafes are a pleasant 500m walk along the beach or boardwalk. The Spit is our favourite holiday location, and The Beachcomber is one of the better apartments. We will be back.

It is a great position in Mooloolaba, so handy to the beach and everything, no need for the car once you arrive.

The aircon in the master bedroom wasn't working so we had to move the baby cot to the other room. Excellent location, beach is 2 mins walk from the back entrance and the rooms were clean and tidy.

The Beachcomber was out of the hustle & bustle of Mooloolaba itself but close enough/in walking distance of cafes, restaurants & Coles. Loved the location ... 2 minute walk to the beach. Spacious, clean & well equipped.

Ideal location, perfect for families
Very friendly and welcoming property managers, couldn't have been more helpful in advance of our trip when we asked for neighbouring rooms for our three separate bookings. Apartment was very well equipped with plenty of cups/glasses/crockery etc. Dishwasher powder, washing up liquid and laundry powder also provided in small amounts perfect for our 5 night stay. Location is perfect, direct access to beach and short stroll along shady boardwalk to shops/restaurants. Penthouse apartment has great roof area with plenty of shade. Lovely clean pool but not a lot of shade during the day. The only downside was the aircon wasnt particularly efficient which meant living room and main bedroom didnt drop below 26degs. Small bedroom was lovely at 21deg!

Good location, manager helpful and well equipped but room was very dated (from the 80’s!) mould on bathroom ceiling and a nasty smell in second bedroom. This is not luxury accommodation by any stretch of the imagination. We moved elsewhere.

Beachcomber - Location Location!
This resort is in the perfect position ... within walking distance to shops, cafes, surf club and the Marina. Well protected from the breeze and it's very pleasant sitting on the balcony watching the constant traffic on the Boardwalk. Lovely sandy beach right in front monitored by the Lifesavers. Our unit was a little tired (with broken furniture on the deck) and no Information Pack in the unit which I have already discussed with the onsite managers. Don't let this put you off, it's a great place to stay.

Awesome view from our balcony to the beach
Loved the view, the location and the facility. We walked everywhere and it was a lovely walk. I saw whales every day whilst sitting on the beach with a coffee- awesome

Spoke to lady at front desk and was told to return In 1 hr to be able to book in After going shopping and returning was then told it would be another hr. Asked if I could place cold and frozen food in the fridge within room was told by a male staff member NO can't help you and you'll just have to wait. Great start to a holiday

Disappointed to say the least
We got there checked in everything looked ok except the mould in bathrooms, later went to shower the water pressure was non existent. As for the beds climbed in beds were full of sand obviously cleaned well lol, not only that they were the most uncomfortable beds I'd ever slept in. The noise from the road at night kept us awake after 2 nights we left and went home a day early was glad to get home. Never again will I stay here or recommend it to anyone

Great beach access
Great beach access and short walk to a wide range of cafes and restaurants. Also a decent pool for when you've had too much beach. Unit are well equipped and fully self contained for longer stays.

We enjoyed our stay at the Beachcomber. We just wanted a nice, peaceful getaway to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary near the beach. Relaxing was the name of the game.

5 days holiday from Auckland. Lovely time of the year for me, sunny and warm but not too hot. It was relaxing, no stress, lots of opportunities for walking, swimming, dinning out. Everything worked out as planned, even the pick up coach to the Airport was exactly on time.

Unit 11 Has the Beach View
The beachcomber unit 11 looks a little old but is well maintained ,.the grounds and pool area were immaculate. The staff were friendly and helpful with any request we had. Beach right at your front door ,easy walk to shops , restaurants, yacht and surf clubs The bed could do with replacing, lots of lumps and squeaks .The kitchen was well equipped and clean. Units on the ground floor were excellent for families .There outside area was larger than the decks and was well gated off for young children .
