Resort Stay with easy access to snorkelling
Spent only 1 night at NusaBay Menjangan but was an amazing stay. Lanai Cottage was very comfortable and well thought out. From our arrival to our departure, the staff were all attentive and very helpful. There is only 1 restaurant by the beach for all meals but loved the view. Corals by the jetty were pretty enough. But we signed up for the snorkelling tour which brought us by boat to Menjangan Island (15 - 20 minutes away). There are 2 snorkelling sites by the shore of the island, both corals with cliff edges 50m deep. One called Blue Corner reef and the other called Mangrove Reef.

If you are a nature lover this place is heaven! The park and surroundings is the best place to reset and be with nature. Snorkelling is amazing. We stayed in linai and villa, both fantastic, pool, restaurant and spa are perfect! Staff is excellent.

Paradise resort
This was 2 nights in paradise. The resort is fabulous, inside the National park among monkeys and deers. The personnel is very friendly and helpful and the food great!

A unique stay
This is a very unique stay, there are no roads so travel the last 20 minutes by boat. The welcome and service were fantastic, as were the rooms which have all the comforts you need. They have the feel of an African safari tent but are completely sealed from any creepy crawlis. There is a lovely deck to sit outside your room. The rooms are services twice a day so always feels fresh and clean. We went for the nature which we saw but we paid a lot of money for a guided hike who spotted less than my partner so that felt like a waste of money. Unfortunately on the path into the bush there is so much litter washed up from the sea. It would be nice to see the staff trying to help clear this. Despite the beach litter on the walks I would definitely stay here again as the service and food were great.

Arrive by boat
Very nice resort, with rustic charm. Staff very attentive and ready to solve any request. I arrived late by boat and still was able to order something to eat. Blissful sleep that night especially. Monkeys and beach deer. Odd combination but true. Even saw what I think was a goanna lizard causally walking along the water edge

Peace, relaxation, nature and genuine smiles
It was an amazing experience. The staff was genuinely nice and made us feel welcome. The place was awesome for snorkeling. We literally just walked up to front and swam. The variety of fish was an awesome thing to see. My wife and mom really enjoyed the spa. I enjoyed the relaxation and time to just enjoy the view. The food was really good and seemed reasonably priced altjough it was the only option we had to buy from. The drive to get there was a bit long but the driver made it an enjoyable experience by taking us to eat and sight seeing. All in all, it was a wonderful experience to go there. If it weren’t for mount agung and the eruption news we would have never known of this place. Now, this would be our go to place in Bali for sure. My photos were all taken with my phone.

Getaway from it all
The hotel is located in a beautiful area and has a rustic charm about it. If you really want to get away from everything then this is the place for you. The food is great and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful and quite prepared to help teach you some Balinese if you're interested. There is a variety of local wildlife to be seen around the resort. We would definitely go back there.

It's very unique if you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle on the island. Snorkelling is great, the food was good and the bed was hard but comfy. This is your best chance to see wildlife in Bali. However when they say "welcome to the jungle" they are not kidding. The bungalows are not constructed air tight, there are huge gaps in the doors and windows where creepy crawlies can get in during the night. So tuck in your hanging mosquito net into your mattress and watch where you step at night if you get up to pee or something. There are no roads to this resort, you need to take a little brown boat run by the hotel from their 'office' located on the mainland. The boat shuttle takes 20 minutes and a return trip is included in your hotel cost. The main complaint I read about the hotel was about food, but I thought the price and selection was very reasonable. The staff were all friendly and the service was just okay.

Great experience of nature, terrible food
If you like a rustic experience of the wilder part of Bali, this is a great place to enjoy it! My favourite bits were snorkelling and hiking. However, food is terrible! This place should invest in a better chef! We tried western dishes and local dishes and even Gado Gado was so terrible I wasn't able to finish it.

Rustic resort tucked away in nature
If you are expecting a luxary resort then this is not the place for you. It is an eco-resort and is rustic in its appearance and upkeep. The food menu is limited. And there is no TV. BUT if you want to escape to nature, go snorkelling, see deer and monkeys, trek through the bush, eat your meals in the tree tops and relax with massages listening to the ocean waves then this is definitely the place for you. Very peaceful. A great place to go and be in another world.

The rooms are in good conditions but the surroundings is in terrible shape. It is a nice place to relax and fantastic to snorkel or scuba dive but as it is isolated there is nothing else to do. Not really good for kids (I went there with my 2 children, age 6 and 8) as there is nothing for them and no snorkelling equipment available in kid's size. Finally the food at the restaurant is limited, small menu with half of the choice not available all the time. Not great quality and not great cooking either but they are trying...

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the hotel. We got our room at a last minute bargain price, so for what we paid we considered it good value. We stayed in unit 14 which had a magnificent panaramic view over the bay. The air conditioning in our room could have been alot better.Very comfortable bed. Food is definitely average, so dont expect to much there. We found the staff very friendly and accomodating. We saw monkeys , deer and wild pigs, which just wander through the resort. The water at the front of the resort is beautiful and clear, snorkeling at Menjangan island is very good, apart from alot of rubbish in the water. Massage was very nice.

Unieke locatie, moie kamers en veel en goed personeel. Gezien je afgelegen zit, moet je bewust kiezen voor deze plek. De rust en omgeving is prima en ik ben ook wezen duiken (bij Blue Corner op het resort) en ruim 2 urige wandeling gemaakt. Daarnaast kan je snorkelen, kanoen en boottocht maken. Dagtochten naar andere locaties zijn ook te regelen. In het droge seizoen toont bij aankomst het resort iets minder door kale bomen en grijze stenen, maar na paar uurtjes voel je de rust en zie je het hel anders.

Super pour les amoureux de la nature
Lieu magnifique, un vrai havre de paie. Vous passez un séjour au calme entouré de biches et de singes. Le snorkeling devant l'hotel est top. La vue depuis les cottages est superbe, le restaurant, un peu cher, sert de bons plats. Petit bémol, les activités proposées par l'hôtel sont beaucoup trop chers ainsi que le centre de plongée/snorkeling ( 60% plus cher qu'à Pemuteran). Réservez vos activités à Pemuteran, ils viendront vous cherchez directement au ponton de l'hôtel ( les frais d'entrées dans le parc national ne seront pas à repayer puisque déjà versé à votre arrivée à l'hôtel) Attention les singes gris sont agressifs pendant la saison sèche. De plus, si vous avez peur ou n'aimez pas les rongeurs, n'y séjournez pas, des visiteurs s'invitent pendant la nuit

Wonderful stay in a wonderful pristine environment, the last true Balinese jungle, and the resort has been carefully built on its shores with access to a quiet beach, where one can snorkle and enjoy the fish feeding on the corals. Exceptionnel
Hotel exceptionnel, au calme, en pleine nature. L’accès au ponton après une traversée de 30mn par bateau est dépaysant et est un bon préambule pour la suite du séjour. La chambre très « lodge » est exceptionnelle dans une villa individuelle (dans le parc pour nous). Très bonne cuisine, de plus à prix très correct. Très beaux fonds poissonneux dès le rivage de la plage, et club de plongée de l’hotel très convivial. La route est très longue et dépaysante depuis Ubud, mais ce paradis le vaut bien. Merci à toute l’équipe très dévouée et disponible.

Total relaxation
If you want a place to relax and just enjoy the beautiful nature and animals in the surrounding this is the hotel to stay at. You will eat your meals by the beach only a few meters from the ocean. Food is very tasty and includes both Asian and Western dishes. Deers can be seen all around. Snorkeling is lovely just off the beach but even better if you take the tour to Menjangan Island. The staff is very friendly, helpful and always smiling.

Superbe hôtel et cadre magique
Lieu magnifique et reposant. Vous êtes isolés, entourés par la végétation, les animaux et la mer. Le personnel est chaleureux et aux petits soins. Les chambres sont belles et très confortables. Tout est simple et bien organisé. Une équipe de l’hôtel vous accueille sur la côte et vous fait traverser en bateau. L’hôtel possède un club de plongée ou snorkeling et peut vous amener sur l'île située en face pour découvrir des fonds magnifiques. Notre séjour à cet hôtel est l'un de nos meilleurs souvenirs de Bali.
