It doesn't get better than this. Perfect property, perfect location and the best staff/owners anywhere. You are in the historic district and only a few steps to the main square. The best part of this stay was meeting the proprietors and feeling extremely welcome. Not only did they provide an incredible stay, they offered excellent suggestions for what to do and where to eat in the town, but also provided suggestions for day trips that I would certainly have missed if planning on my own. I ended up extending my stay. If you are going to Sulmona, to me there is only one option on where to stay.

Where do I start. Angela and her family (brother and mother) treated us as part of their family from check in to check out. Their attention to details throughout the hotel warrants the 4 star rating. Hospitality is a 5 star rating. Where do you find a nonna serving breakfast and talking about family recipes? The location is perfect. The hotel is clean and our room was comfortable and spacious. We would highly recommend making the trip to a city that has not yet been over run by tourists. We felt like a local, which is hard to find in other areas of Italy. We look forward to coming back and spending more time in the area and using Hotel Rojan as our base

This is a family run hotel. Angela and her family are great hosts. They will accommodate your needs, give suggestions on food and sites, and assist with travel excursions. She even created a hand-made map for us. The hotel is nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. This is a great place to stay.

This hotel is charming! The rooms and common area are beautifully finished and immaculate. The staff are a welcoming family that clearly care about your stay and needs and are extra helpful with sight seeing options during and after your stay in Sulmona. Hotel Rojan is in the centre of the old town of Sulmona. We did not experience a more enjoyable stay anywhere else in Italy or Sardinia. Grazie Angela!

Angela and her brother were outstanding. We have never been in a hotel where the people were so helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean and the hotel is well located. Great place but Angela and her brother make it special!

Excellent center location
This was an excellent choice for a central location. We visited family in the area and many wonderful attractions suggested by the hotel staff. The staff are a beautiful family, willing to assist at every turn. Room was spacious and very bright and clean. Highest recommendation!!

Great hotel in heart of sulmona.
Hotel Rojan is a wonderful hotel in the heart of this city. The staff was beyond compare and extremely helpful. The service was wonderful. We had a third floor room with a sloped dark ceiling and did not like our room. If you book this hotel, and I do recommend it, ask for a room NOT on the third floor. Our experience would have been much better in a different room. But the hotel and especially the staff made up for it.

Staff was excellent. They were very helpful with our sightseeing planms and even hand drew out a map of where to go and what to see. The hotel also is right next to all the best spots in Sulmona. The townspeople were also very friendly and welcoming to tourists.

We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Rojan. One of the owners helped us plan our driving itineraries each day so we could see the best of the area, much of which is not in any guidebook or online, but he knew it since he grew up in Sulmona. It's a hotel run by a very warm and knowledgeable family. We highly recommend it.

We stayed at Hotel Rojan 2days while in Sulmona. First class hotel, most accommodating and welcoming staff. Beautiful hotel centrally located in town, walking distance to shops, cafes and historical area. The breakfast presentation was beautiful. Many hot and cold options everyday. Coffee, breakfast cakes and cookies would rival any pastry shop. I stay in hotels @ 150 nights a year and would rate Hotel Rojan with any 5 star hotel.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Sulmona
My husband and I travel a lot and can honestly say that we have never had better service than we had at Hotel Rojan. The hotel is located on a quiet, small piazza. Our room was nicely decorated, exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well which we were grateful for since the temperature was between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius outdoors. Each and every staff member went out of their way to be friendly, welcoming and to assist us in every way possible. We will be recommending this hotel to our friends and family.

Hotel Rojan is well situated in Sulmona and very well appointed. What makes it truly special is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff/proprietors. Gianluca went out of his way to make helpful excursion and dining suggestions. His maps were masterful!

Great hotel in a small town.
The staff is superb. It is a family run operation and they are always there. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and enjoy as much of Abruzzo as time allows. I would not hesitate to go back and stay at this hotel in a minute. It was one of the best stays I have had anywhere in ages. They are world class operators with a lazer like focus on customer service.

Hard to find but worth it.
Wonderful hotel but impossible to find. Don't expect your GPS to find it; they are unable to deal with old Italian towns and think alleys are streets and have no concept of one-way systems. I finally parked and walked to the hotel, only to learn that there was a market that day and the road in was blocked. I feel that, between them, hotels.com and the hotel itself could have warned me about that. However, once I got there, the padrona was terrific, went and found my car and even parked it herself later. So, trauma to arrive, after that, very nice.

L'hotel Rojan è stato una piacevole scoperta. È situato nel centro storico di Sulmona, quindi comodo per raggiungere punti di interesse, ristoranti, locali ecc a piedi. Si trova in zona ZTL, ma questo non rappresenta un problema in quanto all'arrivo lo staff ti fornisce un permesso retroattivo per entrare in ZTL e parcheggiare l'auto senza problemi:) le stanze sono grandi, comode e pulite. Ottima colazione, dolce con torte fatte in casa ogni giorno e salata, con salumi e formaggi freschi. Per ultimo, ma non per importanza, la gentilezza e la disponibilità dello staff!! Ogni giorno ci hanno preparato itinerari e percorsi secondo le nostre esigenze, per farci scoprire le bellezze dell'Abruzzo! Ci hanno svoltato la vacanza! Ogni giorno al rientro eravamo stremati ma felici❤️Non ci è mai capitato di trovare tanta gentilezza e disponibilità, ti fanno davvero sentire coccolati e in famiglia! Super consigliato❤️

Wonderful small hotel in a quiet but central location. The spacious room was impeccably clean. A comfortable bed, high quality bed linen and towels. Breakfast was served in your room which felt like a treat. Attentive and friendly personal service, their restaurant recommendations were spot on and I even got a handwritten map for my return journey to visit sights in the nearby villages. I had a lovely stay.

Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte il giorno di Pasqua. La posizione è ottimale in pieno centro storico. Il personale molto cortese e disponibile. Colazione non internazionale e non troppo abbandonante ma con prodotti fatti in casa (cappuccino ottimo). Ci torneremo sicuramente in occasione della prossima processione della madonna che scappa!!
