The room had a couple of faults, wall paper coming off wall in one area, 2 small holes / rips in the main window curtain. Carpet looks like it could do with a clean . Unfortunately I left my phone charger in the room 225 last Sunday 05 May 2024 , I called the hotel and reported it, they confirmed that they would speak to housekeeping and get back to me. It’s now Friday and still no call from them.

Digital door keys worked perfectly and you didn't have to put one in some silly holder before switching the lights on. My only improvement suggestion would be to invest in a second coffee machine. Queuing for coffee every morning is no fun.

A really wonderful venue, very relaxing. The view from the rooms facing the golf course is beautiful. The Spa is wonderfully relaxing.

Property was central to every where we needed to go, Buffet breakfast was well stocked and plenty of choices, The only thing we were disappointed with was in the bathroom the door hinges were rusting and was staining the paint and flooring as this was behind door it wasn’t visible when cleaning bathroom,

Nice for sitting outside. Family room very nice 203. Premier room no 249 very small & needed a refurb. Reception excellent service. Restaurant kept running out of food on menu & specials which resulted in me not eating what I would have liked. One evening after waiting 30 mins for a starter discovered it had gone to another table. All in all pleasant few days but probably wont stay there again.

We were very disappointed in the standard of this hotel - generally unclean, shabby furniture, pillows hard, no hairdryer, en suite was dated, shower door didn’t fit, TV badly positioned. The Spa was dirty-shower was corroded, ceilings had mould, both steam room and sauna were filthy, not enough loungers. Outside grounds were unkempt and overgrown. The state of the Golf course was average and the Greens were bumpy. Overall the facility did not live up to its billing or adverts - we would not recommend.

Booked a premier room at the last minute, which was small, needed upgrading & a view over a roof. In my opinion very overpriced for what we got. A bottle of prosecco was in the room which was a nice touch. Guy in reception has been very helpful.

Our stay at Ufford Park was extremely disappointing. Our room was listed as ‘deluxe’. I’m not sure how mould on the ceiling, cobwebs, holey curtains, hair in the plug hole, broken plug, scratched doors and a very stained toilet bowl can be classed as deluxe! Also the breakfast was abysmal. We had to wait ages to be told to ‘ sit anywhere’ but infact there are no free tables. Once a free one became available we had to endure coughing and sneezing from the table next to us. The long queue for the single coffee machine meant we had to go without. There were no plates available at the buffet. The scrambled egg was cold and just awful and the remaining buffet was mediocre at best. The very young staff were pleasant enough but there seemed to be no supervision or leadership.

This is a very dated property with old suspended ceilings rooms in need of refurbishment. The bar area is more like a café and quite soulless. Breakfast is a fiasco due to the way everything is laid out and served. They are vegan options which is great but overall the photographs on Expedia and bookings.com are not what you actually get. To use the thermal suite as pictured is £25 extra. The pool area changing rooms are more like a local authority property than a number of stars hotel. overall pretty poor.

Could try harder
We have been many times over the past year or so and despite the new ownership the maintenance of the rooms is still poor e.g. broken tiles, loose mirrors etc. The staff in the bar are too few at times and rather slow.

Nice location, looks the part. Nice golfing ans pool/spa. Bathrooms, plumbing terribly out of date. No pressurised shower, removable shower hose bolted to wall so you cannot properly wash difficult to reach areas. Bed lumpy and uncomfortable. Did not sleep well as a result. Should not be difficult to get right. I've stayed in several Premier Inns where the beds are super comfy. Room temperature not able to control so was too hot. Restaurant menu limited and very overpriced. Service very slow and I was ignored for over 15 mins. Staff at reception helpful.

The staff are amazing , the hotel is nice cant really complain in that department. Breakdaft could have more option as not everyone eats pork or eggs. Only issue just going as an ethnic family you do get some unwanted attention ( beady eyes and stares ). I've stayed here twice now the first visit was fine the 2nd was a little uncomfortable in the pool with children and receiving looks from other guests as though we didnt belong. But that neither here or there i think its just the area maybe. On a positive note beautiful scenery on the grounds, staff are super friendly, helpful & welcoming thank you. 😊

It's a nice place but hellishly expensive, an 8oz steak 1 1/2 pints of Lager and a 250ml glass of wine came to £54.80 I'm going back next week but it'll be Fish & Chips then and that's £18.00 !! The prices are probably to keep the rif raf out, but something needs doing about the menu & prices

Disappointed to arrive and find out that 2 of the 4 included spa facilities were out of order without any communication beforehand. Paid for a deluxe double room which states bath robes/ dressing gowns are included but they’re not, so the only thing you’re paying extra for is the view (which was nice,don’t get me wrong, just not ideal when things you pay extra for and look forward to aren’t available) when we enquired with reception, we were told we could get some at the spa but when we went down there, they said they were only for paying daytime spa guests. Otherwise, the room was nice & clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

I preferred the simple bar menu, as well as the formal restaurant menu, whichh was available when we visited previously. That way you appeal to varied tastes and appetites. Otherwise I love your hotel.

All perfect thank you!! Food a bit pricey! Restaurant supervisor Enya was absolutely first class in everything she did, from greeting us to interacting with us and her professional manner. A real credit to ufford park hotel and herself! Please make this known to the management from us! Reception staff were fine!

Was upgraded to s family room as the room i was in prior had no signal slthough wifi available. Hotel was nice and warm , was unable to hse the gym n swim facilities as u had to leave early so cant comment on that. Breakfast options not so great if your vegan / dont consume pork. If you arruve late and muss dinner the options are also limited so eat prior or arrive early. I will atay here again but be abit more orepared food / snack wise

Amazing service and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Very relaxing few days and we didn't want to leave. Trying to contact the hotel by phone is a bit of a nightmare but hopefully they will sort that out. Not the cheapest, but well worth every penny and we will be back soon.

Staff all really nice. However there was Christmas parties on very near our room both nights and the music carried through thudding away until 1am. Not great for a family room with a child in.

Lovely overnight stay. Reception staff were very welcoming when checking in and out. Room was very clean and warm, good hot shower in spotless bathroom. Breakfast included in my price and was delicious. Excellent choice of food and drink with staff friendly and helpful.
