The breakfast choices were terrible. Everything was high carb/sugar. The only protein was a sugary yogurt. There was a sign for “Healthy Food” but all they had were bananas and apples. You can’t make a breakfast out of bananas and apples. There wasn’t even any sugar-free syrup. The best I could have was a bagel and cream cheese. It would have been nice to at least have had hard boiled eggs for protein. I’m a diabetic and there was nothing there for me. Pictures of the hotel show a warmer that might have had scrambled eggs but there was no such offering.

This was an absolute terrible experience. We booked through Expedia and only booked here for the pool and hot tub, yet when we checked in, we saw the pool and hot tub were closed. We went to the room and it was filthy. Stained bedding, food on the floor, trashy furniture, and the toilet ran every 10-20 seconds. We tried for a refund and the hotel refused, and Expedia wouldn’t refund us without talking to the hotel…which wouldn’t answer the phone. We ended up checking out and staying somewhere else.

I booked a 2 night stay for an extended weekend. The exterior and lobby were pretty average but the further down the hall to the room I got, the dirtier it seemed to get. The already dark room had multiple lights out including the only one with a switch by the door. There were stains on the bedding and red stains on the mattress (I only noticed this because one corner had come off). It seemed as though it hadn’t been vacuumed in quite some time as there was a dead bug on the floor and lots of dust. The bathroom was recently updated however, there was a used washcloth (not from me) hanging on the shower head and hair on the shower walls and floor. Additionally, the bathroom smelt like marijuana, especially when the shower and fan were turned on. The pool was empty and the area by the back door was filled with dead bugs. I think it would’ve been a better use of time and money to clean the hotel rather than update the bathroom.

The hotel was dirty. I am not sure the last time the hallways were vacuumed. The staff at the front desk I think lives there, she showed up in her pajamas and a bowl of cereal to the front desk in the morning. Not a very impressive place. You can tell there has been some updates in the rooms but the property was pretty run down.

No Pool even tho the site said they did. Clearly not used in eons. No elevator! No early or late check-ins available due to no staffing. The place was disgustingly dirty: carpets not vacuumed. Stains on carpets, chairs and bedspreads. Towels also had stains. Expedia shouldn’t even list this poor of a property. The only nice thing was a recently updated bathroom. But even the toilet ran constantly… such a waste of water. We shut it off overnight.

The staff was very kind easy check in and out. Pool was.broken which is one of the reasons we chose to stay there. The room could have been cleaner but was okay. It just seems to be an old hotel. Also no cable or abilities to watch movies that we could see.

The rooms are a bit dated, and the side door was in bad condition and they weren't using the security lock for the side access doors. The shower had moldy caulking.. cleanliness was not perfect.

Room was updated and comfortable but there was some wear and tear and updates needed in the main hallway. Ex, hall carpeting had a lot of wear and tear, walls need paint, doors were scratched with some chunks out of the wood. Area by back door in parking lot was littered with trash and dirt.

Dirtiest Hotel I've ever stayed in
I had the bar set pretty low going in to this stay. There weren't any other choices in the area, so beggars can't be choosers. However, not only did this fall below the already low standard that I set, but it was like it was trying to win the limbo contest for dirtiest hotel in the Midwest by seeing just how low it could go. The carpet throughout the hallways and rooms was threadbare and stained. The wallcovering was torn and peeling. The towels in the room were basically garage rags they were so worn and dirty. There were blood stains on the comforter. If this is your only option, sleep in your car...

Overall the room was fine and had been updated relatively recently. The down side of this hotel was the property outside of the room. The stairs and hallways were filthy and the carpets were stained and very dirty. The outside parking area also had many cigarette butts and other things scattered around. Fort anyone coming there for the swimming pool, there was no water in the pool.

The blackout curtain with a Cavepoint scene, made up for the construction view out of the window. Spectrum cable was down. No TV. The blackout curtain had a gap that let in light, but not too bad. Housekeeping let doors slam on metal lock in rooms in hallway. Very loud. Could have propped the door open with a towel. Not a very restful sleep.

I will say that i was a little unsure of what our stay would be like. I booked our room for a family vacation before I actually looked at the reviews. When I did look at them I was very concerned with what others had to say and I was unable to cancel our reservation. What I found when we arrived was better than I had feared. Our room was clean and nice. Nothing special, but as long as it was clean I was happy. It would have been nice if the pool was open, but we didnt need it. With a teen and a college student, they kept themselves entertained. You can tell this hotel is used often by construction workers simple because I think they drag in A LOT of dirt in the halls and stairs, which really need to be vacuumed and the carpet replaced. But, with the workers staying there, that meant it was very quiet at night and we had no issues with being disturbed. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was fine. We were looking for a place to stay when were weren't out seeing the sights, not to entertain us and this worked fine for us.

We were told when we booked with Expedia they had a pool , pool was closed due to not passing health department .When we inquired we were told Expedia should have informed us.Front desk very rude,we were given a room that reaked of cigarette smell .Carpets were filthy in our room and hallway.linen on bed spread was stained,everything was booked so we had no choice but to stay in that room .No one at front desk to assist with issues
