It was very close to the tram to take downtown. No reason to take your vehicle. The bathroom did not have a shower curtain so slippery floor.

Strasbourg Stay
I must admit the pictures looked better than the actual hotel. My room was fine. It was old but a clean, dry serviceable place to lay your head for the night. The room my brother & his wife was in, not so nice. For a non smoking room, you could tell it was smoked in regularly. Plus the bathtub left a lot to be desired because it was small and could barely stand in it. The staff was very friendly and checking/out was speedy. breakfast was reasonable too.

Perfect place to stay when coming by car.
Perfect place to stay in Strasbourg just on the tram-line. Comfortable, excellent breakfast. Easy to drive to the motel of american type, let the car parked here and use tram D for city center.

Not impressed
The hotel is a couple of miles away from the motorway and a dual carriageway just by the side which makes it impossible having a good sleep. The price of having a meal in the restaurant is over exaggerated, paid £7 for a pint of beer, the rooms are old and looked used and would do with some renovation.

Maybe we had bad luck?
It could just be a matter of circumstance, but we intended to just stop here and get a night's rest and move on the next day. The machine that dispenses keys after hours didn't work and the two numbers posted were not answered. After about 1 1/2 of getting ourselves trapped in the lot because the gate closed behind us, we finally found a number and got a hold of someone.

Close to Zenith arena
Was in town just for one night. Wanted a hotel close to the Zenith arena. Cost 15€ for a taxi there. And 15€ for a taxi back. Room could use a deep cleaning. Just felt a little dirty, but beds and sheets were clean. As was the bathroom. Dinner hours for the restaurant weren't until 1900, which sucked because the show started at 2000. Close by market, with little to no selection for food. Bring snacks and water with you.

We were given a room in the first floor building opposite the main hotel. The room was clean and spacious and had tea making facilities. The room was light and airy and there was plenty of parking spaces in front of the hotel.

Room was ok, although the place could do with a renovation. No lift was a deficit. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English which is bonus. There is a restaurant on site which was handy as it is a residential/light industrial area. OK for the price

Got to hotel on Saturday evening ,from Lille, first impressions hotel ok,staff at reception ,helpful,room a bit run down but clean ,buffet breakfast ,plenty ,location a bit out of the way from strasbourg.would use a campanmile hotel again .

Ideal stopover with friendly, helpful service
The hotel was easy to find, had a secure gated parking area, was clean & tidy. The man on reception was very helpful & polite. All in all, an ideal stopover location for our 900 mile trip down through Europe. Woke refreshed the next morning and after the continental buffet breakfast we were on our way again. Have saved the hotel details and would happily stay there again if venturing in that area.

We were planning to stay at the Campanile Tinqueux but due to delays in Switzerland, we were tired and stopped earlier. We booked a double and single. We arrived late hoping to eat in the restaurant but it was closed so went straight to bed. The room wasn't very clean at all and the bathroom smelt of stale urine. As we were so tired we got straight into bed which was clean and comfortable luckily. We had a long journey the next day so were disappointed to find that the water was cold so could not have a shower. We would not stay here again.

Close to tram station, clean and nice staffs
Close o tram station (about 5 min walking) to the city center. The hotel and rooms are clean, very nice staffs with good English, I was excited to find the appliance to make hot boiled water in my room, free parking (need passcode after 11:00 pm to enter/exit) and wireless, nice breakfast. The only problem is no lift, so people with heavy luggages may want to book ground floor rooms in advance.

Reliable Accommodation, great for the Active
This is a basic but adequate hotel, it is clean and the rooms are warm. Breakfast was good with a good choice in the continental style, no full English. The staff were excellent, very helpful and knowledgable. One or two drawbacks however (1) there were no lunches or evening meals served on Saturday or Sunday and (2) the location of the hotel means you have a brisk walk of 10 mins to the nearest Tram stop called Dante. In Strasboug Tram is the only way to travel but you need a map of the system; once mastered it's superb. (3) If you are a wheelchair user or need a lift tell them in good time since there are no lifts and you will need accommodation on the ground floor. Children will need supervision on the outside stairs.

We stayed here on our way back from Itlay to England as an over night stop. It was not a suitable area for that as there was nothing nearby open. The restaurant was closed at weekends so we had to find somewhere to eat which was limited. Although the receptionist suggested a pizzeria nearby which served a variety of food and was very good.

Hotel Campinile Ouest in Strasbourg - affordable
As a group of 12 ladies on a visit to the European Parliament we stayed in this hotel which was in our budget range. Although I would class it as a motel I would recommend it to anyone who does not mind walking or travelling by tram. Our hotel rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was adequate. It was a ten minute walk to the tram station which took 5 - 10 minutes to reach the city centre.

Hôtel accueillant, très pratique pour visiter Stra
Hôtel situé à proximité de Strasbourg (la ligne D passe à côté, arrêt Marcel Rudloff à 5 minutes à pied .. attention erreur sur la présentation de l'hôtel). Tramway direct pour la gare ou le centre (très pratique). Accueil très agréable ef chaleureux. Une chambre très propre, de bonne taille, une salle de bain bien équipée; wifi efficace. Une petite carte d'accueil sur le bureau. Bonne literie. Peut-être faudrait-il ajouter un plateau avec bouilloire avec café ou thé .. Petit déjeuner fourni, de bonne qualité et varié. Environnement mitigé (pas de restaurant ou magasin à proximité sans voiture).

Sejour agréable.
Séjour de 3 nuits agréable. Calme. Accueil sympathique, et très bien conseillés sur les choses à voir et où les voir. Bien placé à quelques minutes du tram qui amène directement au centre ville.
