“Super 8 Stevens Point needs a makeover”

I know what we paid for this hotel room so I wasn't expecting a lot, however the outside was old. The back entrance door hinge is broken because after opening the door it swings back very quickly and actually caught the bottom of my shoe in the door before I could completely enter the building. Also, the back door is supposed to be a secured entrance, but the card reader does not work. It appears they were working on the first floor rooms because you could see old box springs through the windows. The room was a little small considering it had two Queen size beds. The bathroom ceiling had a hole above the shower head which just added to the overall outdated impression of the building. The room did have a fridge, which was nice, and had a nice flat screen television on the wall. The beds were very nice and comfortable. It was also bad timing on our part. but they put a baseball team on the third floor right above us and they were loud. When we did call the front desk they said they would take care of it and the noise did go down after that. Hotel close to restaurants, shopping and movie theater which was convenient.

Friendly and courteous staff, but they didn't have any change for us in their till. The bathroom was a bit tight, but very clean and it was adequate for the price we paid: we didn't expect a posh setting, so it was fine.
