Room was clean & comfortable. A little dated as the ceilings and walls had cracks & patches. Amenities were adequate. Breakfast was good with lots of cold or hot options. Coffee was fresh brewed. My only complaint was the temperature of the room. Seems like it was set at 68 degrees without the ability to adjust to make it warmer. Call to the front desk to request a different room which was taken care of quickly. The heater in that room was a chilly 64 degrees which also didn’t allow for adjustment. Even changing it from power-save to heat did not resolve the issue. It was a cold, long nights sleep. Will definitely not stay here again. Disappointed that the front desk clerk didn’t have the means to resolve the issue, a maintenance person wasn’t on the property, or given a room with an adjustable heater that went above 68 degrees.

I am so sorry about your experience with the heating unit in the room. Each room has their own individual PTAC unit which is controlled by the buttons on the units. When we checked the units on the following morning both we working just fine. The buttons were pushed for fan and not heating. Once the button was pushed for heat the room warmed up quickly.. I am so sorry for your inconvenience.Thank you,

Only thing was king size bed wasn’t to comfortable. Everything else outstanding. I’ll try the queen size bed next time.

Best Western Design team is in the process of completing our new design concept and we will then be able to move forward with the renovation. Bambi at the front desk was excellent! Very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the area. Breakfast was great with hot options along with muffins and cereals. Only draw backs were noisy guests above us who got up a lot during the night and the room was very warm we had to turn on the air which was very loud when it would turn on and off. Otherwise we would definitely stay there again just maybe request a top floor room.

We stayed at Best Western in St Marys, Pa on Oct 30, 2023. When we got to the room we noticed the ceiling light was going bright and dim. The direct tv did t work. To top it off the toilet was not even attached to the floor. My sister almost fell off. We did get another room, and that toilet was also not attached to the floor. I dont know how it wasnt leaking. Also, the fridge was very loud which made it hard to sleep.It also smelled like cigarettes even though it was smoke free.We dealt with it at this point because after being at the hospital for a family emergency for 24 hours, we just wanted to sleep. I dont recomend this hotel and feel some kind of refund is due to me.

Super friendly staff to and including the cleaners. Hospitality definitely is their top priority. Excellent location, and priced within the budget. Breakfast was outstanding as well!!!

Excellent choice
The staff was excellent and super helpful. Beds were comfy but a little squeaky. Everything was clean and the hotel actually smelled really good. Free breakfast was nice, the coffee machine thing was not good but everything else was wonderful. The waffle iron-on point :)

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in and out was quick and painless. The smoke detecteor was hanginging from the ceiling by one screw. The toilet was a very old style and very low to the floor. These are sometimes difficult for the elderly.. There seemed to be missing furniture (there was only one chair other than the desk chair.) Lastly, the door rubbed on the floor so hard it wouldn't close on the automatic closer and the lock on the door was extremely difficult to use.

Unfortunately when you came to check in for the reservation you gave us the name of Kelly which we didn't have. We asked for a confirmation number which the gentleman did not have. I asked him if he would like to access the computer in the lobby to pull up the email with the confirmation which he declined. He said that perhaps the paperwork was in the car and went out and never came back in. Only late that night when we have a reservation left in your name did we realize that it might be your reservation. He never mentioned your name when he came in. We did not charge your reservation through Expedia so they should refund you the money for the reservation.

Old hotel, not well kept up, charging new hotel rates. Couldn't connect to wifi. Very depressing, very dark interiors. Would have left except that our prepaid rate was nonrefundable.

We were told the pool was closed when we checked in. We expected to swim while we were there. This information should have been listed when I made the reservation. There was an indent in the floor where I walked in our room and I almost tripped a few times. Asked for more towels, didn't get. Only 1 wash cloth was in our room. We booked as 2 people. Breakfast was great. Won't return.

I am so sorry that the pool was closed when you checked in. We have had that our pool is closed on the Best Western website since mid May when we went to open the pool We found there was no water in the pool resulting in a leak in the bottom of the pool. We are actively trying to find someone to repair this. Once again I am so sorry that you were not notified ahead of time.

The property needs major renovations. The room was supposed to be smoke free but was full of smoke odor. When asked, the manager told that it has been a smoking room in the past. Room fridge was noisy and tv did not have any open channels. Breakfast was a joke. Apparently, every possible cent is saved for the benefit of the owner.

I am so sorry that you were not happy with your stay at our Best Western. We have not had smoking rooms at our hotel for over 15 years, so I am not sure why your room smelled like smoke. We do have DirectTV for our televisions and have over 150 channels to choose from. Our breakfast consists of a hot egg and meat items daily as well as a waffle maker, breads and pastries, cereal and oatmeal, several kinds of regular and Greek yogurt and hard boiled eggs. What kinds of things would you like to see offered? Suggestions are always welcomed. I would hope you would allow us another opportunity to better serve you.
