Thank you Alexis for your excellent review. The villa has its own beautiful view overlooking the bay and marina. Its impeccable location assures your privacy, quietness, and convenience when it comes to going to the beach, getting groceries, doing activities, or just exploring. There is no road access to this side of the bay – only ferry – so it’s very quiet and serene (2 min crossing). Weekly ferry pass available for purchase for $20 per person. There are steps to get to our property however there is a tram that goes up and down the hill to avoid many steps. As you mentioned it's well worth it for the view it has : )

The Vacation Club is a community of 12 private villas nestled among the tropical palms and gardens of the northern hillside of Marigot Bay. We do mention on our listing that our property is only accessible by public ferry. The ferry runs every 10 min and it's a 2 min crossing. Weekly ferry passes are available for purchase for $20 USD per person. It's an ideal location to relax and enjoy the beautiful view from your balcony. Thanks for your review.

As we have informed you before your arrival, the tram going up and down the hill is temporary out of order and is actually undergoing repairs. It will be back in operation sometime in June 2019 but as you have seen, it's definitely worth walking those steps as you get incredible views of the bay from your own private balcony. Thanks for your feedback. As you know, when guests do not wish to climb the steps going uphill, they can use a lift-track (an outside elevator). This elevator was under repair for your stay and we called you few days before to offer you a full refund as you were traveling with children. We were disappointed that on arrival, you complained to our Guests Services that no one informed you about it. The next day, you then commented about the slow WI-FI, insects, plumbing, etc. Again, after your first night and based on your comments, we offered you a full refund or change room but you declined our offers. We gladly responded to all your queries explaining that the Internet was suitable for light browsing and checking emails, but not suitable for Netflix or Amazon Prime. We are located in the Caribbean and as much as we are treating for tropical insects regularly, it is possible to see a an intruder coming into your unit . We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations but we appreciate that you found our staff to be very friendly and our houses to provide exceptional views.
