Great stay!
I had an amazing stay at this apartment. Kathie is a wonderful, highly responsive host, and the apartment is exactly as pictured. Location can't be beat! I would definitely stay here the next time I'm in St John's.

Place was in a good spot. Easy walk down. Cab back up. Go eat at the Peaceful Loft only a 5 minute walk right down Prescott. But get there early like before 6: Maybe 5:30. Liked the setup of the apartment but TV went in & out and one curtain panel is on backwards. Good shower. Towels were great and shampoo & conditioner a nice touch. Bed slopes on window side so probably a new mattress needed.

Business stay
Fantastic location - at the top of a very steep hill! Great views. An old building with lots of creeks and quirks - beautiful old wood floors - so you hear a lot from the neighbours. But it’s charming and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Very warm and comfortable.

Great Spot, Close to Everything
This is a lovely apartment in a historic building in St. John's. It is furnished with antiques and comfortable seating which complement the era of the building. It is close to restaurants, popular attractions and shops. The host provided everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Accomodation better than expected. Any problems encoutered corrected immediately. Great place! Only negative was parking. Twice given a $40 parking ticket for violating street washing bi-law. How in the world can a tourist know what night the street is being cleaned and not to park there. Ignorance of the law no excuse? Some pissed we were!

Perfect spot. We really enjoyed. Be aware uphill both ways only happens in St John’s 😃😂. Make sure you’re physically able. They need to figure out better black out curtains in the bedroom or bring an eye mask.

Great stay in a well located apt
We had a great four night stay at the apt. It was easy to find and access (two short flights of stairs). The apt was a good size - we appreciated having the large dining room table, big couch and chairs and a comfy Q bed. The kitchen was really well stocked. Although we didn’t cook (just reheated food a few times), it had all the little things you needed (s/p, spices, tea/coffee/sugar). Really appreciated having laundry (w/soap!). It’s location is convenient - a few blks down to the busier streets or up a few blks to a large grocery store. It’s on a busy corner, but above street level. We did eat plugs which worked great. We would absolutely stay here again.

Gateway to St. John
We loved The access to the heart of St. John.( we parked our car and walked most places) The access to a small deck overlooking the city The spacious and well appointed design of the apartment. Including the small washer and dryer Parking was never an issues Would we stay there again..absolutely A couple of small caveats The location while convenient requires a walk down and the up a San Francisco like hill. It is on a main road, you will hear the traffic, though we never found this to be a problem as we were so tired :) The ceiling is very thin, you will here thd people above you walking around, again manageable especially for people use to appartment living

This apartment is centrally located. The apartment was fully stocked and beautifully furnished, I would stay here again. The upstairs patio is wonderful for watching a sunrise.

Lovely stay
Beautiful clean, just as it was posted. Our manager was there when we got there and let us in a bit early as our flight was early. The apartment was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash, coffe with French press, etc. I spent a lot of nice time on the little Terrace which has views of the harbour and lots Of colourful houses on hills. Wear comfy shoes on all of the hills!

This apartment was the perfect place for the two of us to say during our week in St. John's. It's bigger than it looks in the photos, and very comfortable. A short walking distance to Water St., George St. and Duckworth St. Looking forward to staying here again.

This property has so much character and warmth. We enjoyed the local artwork and gorgeous wood floors and original fireplace. The view was breathtaking and the bed comfy. Location was also awesome with parking included. We were Delighted with our stay and would definitely recommend.

Stayed for 1 week at this property. Really good value for the money. Apartment was very spacious. Furnishings a little dated and rustic, but adequate. Can’t beat this location, just steps to downtown core. A little road noise in mornings.

Great location to walk to all the sights in St. John's. Parking was on street but we never had trouble getting a spot. Comfy and spacious. lshort walk to puppy friendly potty place. Only downsides were out of control of the owner....morning traffic right outside the window was very loud. But, we wanted to be in the city and that's the trade off.

Charm in a good location
There was an administration error and our unit was double booked. Although Kathie was great and did her best to sort something out for us, the fact that we had to move units and locations was a disappointment and not what we had envisioned for our stay. We stayed in other units that she owned and they were both nice, clean and well stocked. The location was great in the heart of St John’s with lots surrounding. Kathie is lovely and did all she could given the unfortunate mistake.

Location is good, we can walk to many attractions in city. The apartment is full of jelly bean row house characters. Host responded to our needs quickly. Cooking essentials is more than some other places we have stayed. Only complaint is about street noice. We could hear cars zooming by.

Our first trip to St John’s Newfoundland; we were not disappointed in the least. Kathie is an absolutely fabulous host! We looooved the apartment; the locations could not have been better! Weather cold - but that was what we were looking for — including the snow ❄️ Definitely will be planning another trip back and Kathie’s place will be our first choice for accommodations. Very clean; well furnished, including kitchen. Lisa was also amazing ——. Very personal and accommodating!!!

Perfect Downtown Location
We spent 3 nights in this bright, roomy one bedroom apartment located in an older building on the 2nd floor (no elevator) overlooking St. John's Harbour. The apartment is exactly as shown in vrbo and is within a 15 minute walk of a supermarket, LCB, The Rooms, and Water Street restaurants and shops. The apartment was well stocked with amenities and kitchen equipment and a washer/dryer. The owner offered us discounted tickets to one of her dinner/theatre performances which we thoroughly enjoyed. The owner provides a free street parking pass so that you can park your car in front of the apartment. We would definitely stay here again on a return trip to St. John's.
