“A very pleasant stay”
We have stayed here before and will again. They are renovating the hotel.
“Will not return.”
CHARGED FOR PARKING-book through Expedia which never mentioned a parking fee to park at the hotel that charged a pricy rate as it was. On top of the parking fee there was no parking security/attendant. Other hotel guests were up late being excessivly loud and partying in parkinglot at 3 am disturbing our sleep. The room we got had absolutely no bay view at all we saw the room service headquarters and some roll away beds outside our window in this bayfront hotel. Upon arrival we found our telephone to be not working and the sink was all backed up and we had to wait between teeth brushing for the water to receed. For $15.00 more per night (well technically $8.00 more after the parking fee) could have had a much nicer hotel. .
“Nasty”
Room smelled of sewage, carpet was wet.
“I don't recomend this hotel you can find more chiper and better”
The hotel is ubicated in frotn of the castillo but is really expensive for the service, doesnt included breakfast and also you need to pay for the parking.also the rooms arenot comfortable has a bad smell and the bathroom was old.
“Great location, good for the price. Really bad parking situation!”
This hotel was in a great location. Just steps from St. George street. Room was comfortable. My only complaint is the parking. I've never stayed at a hotel where I was afraid to move my car because when I return, I may not have a place to park. They also charge a $ 7.00 parking fee on top of the room fee. We complained that we had no place to park after returning to the hotel one night and they took the parking fee off of our bill. We had to wait in our car for about 5 minutes for someone else to leave so we could park. There are a few parking spots where you are completely blocked in. Luckily, we didn't get one of those! If you don't plan on driving around St. Augustine, this hotel is wonderful for the price.
“Great Prices for Location!”
This hotel is old and is lacking in different ways, but is by far worth it because of its great location.
“Great location, if that's all your looking for!”
The location is great, walking distance to the old town. However, that was the only thing good about this hotel! The parking is horrible, surprised that my car didn't get a scratch on it! Also saw numerous bugs only after being there for serval mintues & the carpet was very dirty looking. Needless to say, I didn't take my socks/ sandals off. In addition the a/c was in a weird location, which made it very hot at night! I will not be revisiting this hotel!
“Perfect location!”
The location of this hotel makes the whole package! Hotel itself is perfectly fine, not luxurious, but price is great and location perfect! Right around the corner from everything, and sunrise views from many rooms overlooking the bay. Extremely happy with the pool, and parking was fine. Dining/shopping is right around the corner, and trolley stop is just outside. I can't wait to return!
“wonderful location- can't be beat!”
Service and room were great however it backs to service ally for historic district and we were awakened by in order of appearance- beer delivery trucks, garbage trucks and street sweepers . Starting at about 6AM. Still for the value and location we would go back there.
“Can't beat the location”
This is the best location for seeing attractions in Old St. Augustine. One you've parked your car in their lot, you will be able to walk everywhere. The price is reasonable and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Towels are clean, but could use some bleach, and it's time for new carpeting. The little diner next door makes an excellent breakfast,
