Fantastic place.
I love this place so much! The single twin room is great, with a lovely bathroom. The included meals and charcuterie were really good. Everyone was very friendly. I loved the ambience. The only problem I had was laundry, given that I was using the stay as a resupply on the great divide trail. Washing everything in the room took forever. It would've been perfect if they could've charged me 40 bucks to do a load of laundry.

Definitely stay here
Loved this place so much! Loved the food, loved the service, loved our cabin! Loved the personal note to my dogs staying with me. The cheese board was amazing! Don’t change anything!

Mostly wonderful
Exceptionally clean and the staff was amazing, dealing with each guest with friendly, professionalism and caring concern. The lodge itself was always somewhat cold and we often stayed wrapped in a blanket or by one of the fireplaces to stay warm. Coffee could be hotter, but in general the food was very good and of high quality. Having asked for consideration regarding gluten-free and lactose we were a little disappointed when this was not always communicated to us.

Fabulous all-inclusive one night stay
It was an amazing stay. The staff are so friendly, approachable and personable. I went with the all inclusive 1 night stay and it totally worth it with the charcuterie board in the afternoon, three-course dinner, breakfast the morning, and packed lunch. The view was spectacular from the location, and there were so many trail options around the place. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love this place!
I cannot speak highly enough about this place! The staff went above and beyond for both my partner and I, and our dog! The scenery is breathtaking, and the food is to die for! Highly recommend for a little mountain getaway!

Perfect place to stay for outdoor enthusiasts, there are many cross country ski and snowshoeing trails in the area.. Spectacular scenery and a cozy lodge to return to.

My husband and I had an amazing time here! The location was breathtaking. The food was delicious. At night, they have a big fire pit to sit around and you could see the stars so clearly. The staff was really helpful and informative about hikes to do. This is the perfect place to go for a romantic getaway!

Mount Engadine Lodge is situated in a perfect location. Overlooking a meadow with mountains all around you. Rustic spot and blends into the hillside so it doesn't stick out. Very pleasantly surprised

With the borders closed we weren’t sure what to do this summer. We booked 2 nights at the lodge and had a great time. The food was really good and we liked the glamping tents especially when it rained

One of the reasons we decided to spend a night at Mt. Engadine Lodge was the rave reviews that our neighbor gave the lodge after staying there about a year ago. Our neighbor is quite knowledgeable when it comes to travel facilities, so we believed her judgment and review. The secluded location of Mt. Engadine Lodge is truly unparralleled, the view across the meadow to Tent Ridge and the peaks beyond is spectacular. Our room in the lodge was generously sized and well equipted. Our only observation was the bare white walls seemed too sterile. We felt that the walls should have been painted in earth-tones to reflect the surrounding natural environment. The blank wall also seemed out of character, perhaps some of the photos and paintings by local artists should be used to breakup the blankness. Our neighbor raved about the meals she and her daughter experienced while staying there. We found the meals to be good, but not really in the rave category. The afternoon tea was probably the best presentation of food that we had. The selection of meats, cheeses and crackers was very nicely presented and delicious. The evening meal of strip steak and vegetables was good, but not rave-worthy. The vegetables in particular seemed lame, the potatoes were served dry and we had to ask for butter and salt and pepper to add flavor.The steak was very good and cooked to our perfection. Breakfast was again a bit of a let-down, as was the packed lunch.

A gem in the Rockies
Engadine Lodge is a gem in the Canadian Rockies. The location is idyllic. For anyone who loves outdoor recreation in the mountains away from the crowds, Engadine is for you. The only thing that exceeds the beauty of the setting is the quality of the staff and the food. Highly recommended!

IT is a beautiful and comfortable lodge, but we stayed the first night in a cold glamping tent which cost as much as a room in the lodge. Don't do that glamping thing for such a price. BAD deal.

Thank you for your review! We are sorry that your tent was cold the first night, there is a thermostat in the tent where you can adjust the heating and they are warm enough even in the middle of winter. We hope you can stay with us again!

Amazing setting overlooking mountains and waterway. Wonderful staff — helped us change a flat tire! Delicious food. Road to get there very rough and dusty, but worth the journey.

It is a beautiful place with a good staff, but the wall tent was very cold. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THEY CHARGE THE SAME AMOUNT FOR A WALL TENT AS THEY DO FOR THE MAIN LODGE. I would never pay that amount for a wall tent and would not go back unless I could stay only in the lodge.

Cosy Relaxed Mountain Lodging
We spent a couple of nights at Mt Engadine Lodge in mid August in the Elk Suite. The all inclusive food was beyond amazing & very plentiful, the staff was friendly & helpful, the bed & bedding was fantastic & we loved the family style meals, meeting travelers from all over the world! Great vibe...great views...great environment! Our suite bathroom, furniture & carpet was a little old & tired....but after all our day hiking, the amazingly comfortable bed was all that was important....just mentioning the room decor for info purposes only. The common areas in the lodge are cosy and inviting...so Mt Engadine Lodge is not a luxury lodge but a very comfortable homey type stay. We loved it!

Relax and feast in this picturesque lodge
This lodge caters for a variety of clientele: families with young children, active adults and those wanting a relaxing time getting away from city or business life with single, double or family rooms and chalets, and is pet friendly. We were a real mix of Calgarians, people from BC, tourists from South Africa, USA and UK. The view from the dining and living area is beautiful, the facilities are all in the main lodge building but it does not feel crowded, and with plenty of parking. The lodge is easy to reach from main roads in Canmore and Kananaskis Country, with hiking, snowshoe and cross country ski trails nearby, with several from the lodge set and maintained by the staff. The friendly staff were always helpful and helped make a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere in the lodge and provided suggestions on which trail to try next. The main feature was the dinning experience - the lodge is fully inclusive and provides 4 meals with dinner and breakfast in a family style get to know your fellow guests, which may not be to everyone's taste, but sharing stories over a good meal certainly made the break special.

Very comfortable lodge, beautiful setting
Staff goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. Meals are family style and guests tend to linger and socialize and share travel experiences and life in general. Very relaxing atmosphere. Dinners are truly gourmet.
