This is a very quaint hotel with updated room amenities in a rustic building very near the historic sites of Split. It is situated on a very narrow street (alley) so difficult to access by taxi. {Leave the large luggage at home!]

The property was in a good location. Short walk to Diocletian Palace, restaurants and water front. The rooms are quite small and bathrooms are a bit worn and tired. Staff is quick to respond to questions.

Enchanted hotel !
We can't wait to come back again! Everything was better than planned, the hotel's facilities far exceeded our expectations since it was our first time in Croatia, and we honestly had no idea how we were going to do it. To begin with, we had the joy of meeting “Inna” who was like an angel for us at the hotel reception and welcomed us with a big smile and a hug and with such a special and contagious energy she made us feel like family from the first moment. She went beyond the call of duty to help us by giving us recommendations for places to eat and things we should do in Split. Inna is a special being who projects very good energy and was of great help to us during our stay.

Falsely Advertised - No Bar, No Restaurant
The staff is very helpful, especially Inna who is very quick to respond, very kind, friendly and eager to help. Nonetheless, we were disappointed with the hotel and the false advertising. There in No restaurant, there is No bar, our room was tiny, our bed was Not a Queen size (it was a short, narrow double), we had to walk too far with all of our luggage because taxis cannot drive into the pedestrian zone in which this hotel is located. This is Not a four star hotel, but rather a two star hostel. The breakfast is awful (grey hot dogs, cold old fried eggs, shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, bland cheese, white rolls). In summary, Inna and the staff are great, but the property is falsely advertised.

The hotel is a short walk to Old Town. The standard room is small. So, just be aware of this. Additionally, if you are similar to me in that you need a dark room to sleep, then you will have some trouble sleeping. There are green exit lights over the room door. The walls are thin between rooms on the same floor. But, otherwise a neat, little medieval type of room.

The hotel wasn’t accessible by road (well taxis would not go down the narrow streets) so depending where you were dropped off/picked up taking your luggage was a real effort. The room was nice, though not connected to the main building with reception. This would have been fine as they had security doors at the entrance of each building, but the chose to have them unlocked, which was a bit strange. You obviously have a lock on your room but anyone could gain access to the building. We were assured nothing has ever happened, and it didn’t, but it seamed odd to have additional security and not use it.

Excellent location. Friendliest staff ever!
We stayed 3 nights on our motorcycle road trip. Location is unbeatable, parking motorcycle at the front of the Hotel and walking a few blocks to city center. The girl at the front desk cannot be more nice, friendly and helpful, she is just amazing! I definitely recommend this hotel.

Super friendly staff, room is sweet and you will need the AC on during summer. They had proper AC as compared to other accommodation. Easy walk to town centre. The parking is NOT on site, speak with them before you go for advice, rates vary from €15 - 45 per day. We found free parking a couple of blocks away, safe and quiet street.

Very nice boutique hotel
Really nice hotel in an 18th century building, the reception and main hotel was lovely and we received a warm welcome. Our room was in the opposite building, and felt modern even though the building is so old. Location is good not far from the town walls but in a very quiet street so the best of both worlds

Average. Pleasant room but nowhere comfortable to sit. Would have been better if there had been comfortable seats on the public terrace. One window opened on to a public terrace, the second to a blank wall. Main issue was the noise from the room above. The wooden floor creaked very loudly every time someone walked on it.

Very well renovated building less than five minutes from the Split historic centre from the Roman times in a quiet area. Good full breakfast and attentive staff. Spaces for eating breakfast inside or outside. Parking if you drive, would be by the seaside walk, about seven minutes from the hotel. Near all the action, without all the noise of the very centre. There are many dining options from a minute walk from the hotel and onwards. Being a historic, renovated building, it has steps and no lift to the rooms. Beautiful boutique size hotel with personal service.

Quaint Boutique Hotel
The hotel is difficult to find when you first get there because taxis cannot access the area where the hotel is located. Once you know the way, it is a short stroll to the main esplanade where all the action is. The internet was not working well which I needed to forward plan flights and other accommodation so this was the most frustrating stay whilst there because I had to leave my room to use the internet. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was also clean and serviced.

Do not book - awful experience
Do not book this hotel. I paid £250 for a one night stay and upon arrival was told they overbooked and I had to walk to a sister hotel (in the pouring rain). The hotel they moved me to was the polar opposite of the hotel I booked, very ‘The Only Way Is Essex’. The room also had foundation on the hairdryer and dried out nail varnish on the bed throw… I expressed my dissatisfaction at both hotels about where I had been moved to and was given zero compensation. I would not recommend at all as at risk of being moved around with zero compensation to a hotel that is the total opposite in every way.

Nice location, quiet part of town and easy to walk from there. The staff members were nice and the building very quirky. The room was too small for 3 people, with the extra bed we couldnt really walk around and unfortunatley the room has a carpet which needed a very good vacuum. It was full of hair from a range of people. I walked in new socks on the carpet and they were full of the hair which made me feel uncomfortable that the room had not been cleaned properly.

Overpriced. You can do better for the money. Room was not insulated. Lots of noisy from above and the street. Mattress was lumpy. Did not accept credit cards (informed only after nonrefundable booking). Cash only. And, management not on property and quite unfriendly. Cannot talk to them directly but only through web site or receptionist, who was nice but quite overwhelmed by anything complicated.

Nice property in quiet streets off the beaten path. Bad wifi - used ipv6 connection which made it impossible to use Steam or play any online games. Only google sites like Youtube will load. They first refused to give us the wifi password as well, which was strange. If they would sort out their router issues and offered free proficient wifi like they say on the ads, it would be a great place. Need a workng ipv4 internet connection.

The staff was AMAZING! We were changed to a different, sister hotel, the Plaza Marchi, due to low occupancy rates caused by COVID. I can't imagine a better place to stay. Great location, AMAZING staff and history all around. Don't hesitate. Just book it!

Excellent location, old town on your doorstep and the ferry port & airport bus shuttle is only 10 mins walk. Beautiful place, loved the character of old building and the staff couldn’t be nicer! Delicious and plentiful breakfast.
