Really nice property. Amazing breakfast and breakfast room. Beautiful views from the pool area. Wonderful and helpful staff. Made several cab reservations and dining recommendations. Would definitely stay here again. Very happy with this hotel.

Disliked the strict “no drinks brought in” policy. I recommend an exception to allow outside bottles of water to be brought in. The bartender while we were there was good but VERY VERY SLOW.

Spacious, clean rooms with balconies. Very accommodating concierge desk when I unexpectedly needed a longer stay. Roof deck and ground floor garden were terrific places to relax and catch up on computer work. Wifi was 50mbs, amazing by hotel standards. Streets around the property are noisy, but windows are noise proof, and it's ideally located just two blocks from both the Piazza Tasso and the train station.

The property is extremely clean and well maintained. It is in a safe neighborhood with easy access to Positano and other towns on the Amalfi coast. The hotel is also located centrally and is walking distance to the train and bus stops. The staff were very professional and arranged a private transfer to the Naples Airport with an excellent driver. The breakfast spread was also top tier. I highly recommend this hotel.

The front desk staff (particularly Max) was super friendly and helpful. Our room had a great balcony with a view. The room was clean and pretty spacious. The location was so convenient to Piazza Tasso, a less than 5 minute walk. Also, the breakfast options in the morning were plentiful.

Lovely, quiet hotel with large clean rooms, small private terraces and a large rooftop terrace with a view of Vesuvius and a nice pool and restaurant. The main square was a short walk. Breakfast was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only challenge was the parking - the garage is small - but we made it work.

A reasonably priced hotel in a good location in Sorrento so you can walk to most places. Front desk staff very friendly and efficient. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. I can't comment on the rooftop pool and bar as it rained hard every day we were there. Only negative was the restaurant which had only a very limited of fixed meal options and the food was nowhere near four star standard in Italy.

This is the perfect hotel, amidst the perfect garden oasis setting to enjoy the 'quiet'. The hotel was a 5-min.walk from the train station. 2 blocks from Piazza Tasso, 3 blocks to the shops, 8-min. walk to the Communal Garden for the best views of Sorrento Bay. The hotel is clean, modern with beautiful finishes-glass, stone, marble, granite, woods, fabrics, stainless steel. Huge lobby with dining room & bar access. Arrived early & they kept our luggage safe until we came back to check in. The desk staff was so nice, helpful, professional & everyone was impeccably dressed. You never had to look for anyone!! Special thanks to Valentina. Our room, 305, had a balcony with 2 chairs/table. The pillows and linens were high quality & the bed was so comfortable. Huge closet space in wall, safe, 2 night stands, desk & chair, & a small table & chair. Great Wi-Fi! Bathroom mirror was a huge make up mirror! Walk-in shower, hand held attachment & a rain forest overhead. Big fluffy towels. The included breakfast was set up in a 'ball room' with waiters, linens, china and silverware. Hot eggs, bacon, sausages; cold meat/bread/jams/veggie/cheese bar; fruit bar; packaged gluten-free items; 8-9 different types of pastries, croissants, yogurt, cereals, freshest orange juice and 2 coffee machines that made 8 different coffees. We stayed 3 nights and found so much to do and see because of the location-it is 'perfection' in a word! Do yourself a favor and don't just look - just book! Ten stars!!!

Not a Grand place to stay - we felt "antsy"
We had this "antsy" feeling during our 5-day stay at this hotel. We wouldn't stay there again. Not that there was anything bad, except for the snotty attitude of a gray-haired waiter at breakfast, who didn't like the fact that we happened to sit at a table set for four at our first visit to the breakfast buffet, He could have been more gracious instead of showing the attitude he did. But this was the first example of what made us feel so "antsy"; like there were too many restrictions placed on us. The biggest: "Thou shall not bring purchased food or beverages into thine hotel room". We happened to have part of a bottle of water left over from our day's excursion, and we were reluctant to have the bottle seen by staff as we made our way to our room. Most hotels leave at least a complimentary bottle of water for guests, especially those who consider themselves "grand", but not this one. The breakfasts had a fair amount of choice, but very little menu turnover, and the food quality was mediocre on average. Some front desk personnel were warm and gracious, others were as cold as fish. Why did I say we felt "antsy"? It seems that this hotel may have had a problem with ants in the past,and may use the food restriction to limit the risk of another infestation. We really liked the location; just a block from the train/bus station, which made our day trips to Pompeii, and the Amalfi Coast really easy to do. Housekeeping was superb. The room was good, but not grand, like the hotel.

Lovely, traditional Italian hotel, all high ceilings and tiled floors, a feeling almost of Art Deco in design. Friendly staff throughout, especially the rooftop bar man, who knew our drinks order every night, after the first visit! We only had had breakfast at the hotel, but the food was always fresh and plentiful and the coffee was just marvellous.

I think based on what we paid for the accommodations it was really expensive, the room was small, not very well appointed, you felt like you were back in the 70’s… if I were you, I would avoid this hotel, too much bucks for not allot of bang is my opinion. Although the pool deck on the roof had some great picture opportunities

The property has a great garden area and spacious rooms. The location is right next to the train and bus stops. It's a short walk to the main square. The staff were friendly and helpful. The downside was no coffee/tea maker in the room. This hotel has a no outside food/drink policy in the room or hotel areas.

This hotel is close to the center of Sorrento, bus station about two blocks away. Place is clean and the staff is friendly. I was most of the time out and i was only able to have breakfast one day and it was good, the pool area is ok.

This place needs some renovation. We noticed that we could randomly hear dripping in the wall of the bathroom. When we came out of the room into the hall in the morning, there was a hole in the ceiling, with a bucket and a soggy ceiling tile in it. The room was ok, though the walls were thin enough that we could hear the people in the room next to us arguing (a lot). When I asked the concierge for information about the bus, they gave me incorrect information (said I could buy a ticket on the bus, which was wrong, had to be bought beforehand). It certainly wasn't a terrible stay. But It definitely wasn't great either.

This is an older 50's/60's hotel that has been immaculately maintained. The rooms are a good size and there are balconies if it's not too hot outside. There is a pool on the top floor that makes the stay on a hot day comfortable. It is centrally located to the center of town and shopping and eating. We walked everywhere. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

I had a clog on my shower and they won’t be able to repair it until my second day of staying. They offered me to change the room, but after a long trip that option was somehow inconvenient to me. Other than that, this is the authentic Italian hotel that I was looking for.
