5/5 Excellent
Peaceful nights at the Wilson.
"I stayed at the Wilson for a couple of nights when working in nearby Whitby, a ten minute drive away. Sneaton is a quiet hamlet near to Ruswarp and is very quiet so great for a peaceful night of sleep.
The bed at the Wilson was comfortable with clean crisp bedding. The room was on the small side as it was the attic of the Wilson BUT I was there to sleep after long work days.
The room was well set out with a window looking out to the coast, two chairs were placed near the window so I enjoyed my cup of tea on waking.
The car park was large enough to afford plenty of spaces to choose from.
The downstairs bar and restaurant looked to be very nice, however, I missed out on both as I was an early start and late finish so also missed out on breakfast "
"Lovely Hotel. It was quite expensive for an overnight stay but very comfy beds and great staff. The lady on reception personally escorted us to our room upon arrival and the restaurant staff were very knowledgeable about the menu. Saltburn is lovely and the sea-front is a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is very 'quirky' with it's decor and antiques, but we liked this. There's a lovely outside seating area. We had a 'corner' room, with windows either side which was nice. Good sized room and shower. Thanks to the staff for making us feel so welcome. "
