We stayed here two nights while traveling around the Ardennes. It's very charming inside and out. There's a lovely terrace with tables, and our room overlooked this. The room was quite spacious. We had twin beds, which were fairly narrow. There are plenty of electrical outlets, but no refrigerator. The bathroom was quite spacious, though there was little counter space. Perhaps a table adjacent to the sink would help. The shower worked well, but could have used a soap/bottle dish. Though it was one big room, there was a bed area and a large living room with two large stuffed chairs and two other chairs. There was a TV. There is free WiFi, though the signal is quite weak. Apparently this is true of the whole region.
The furnishing were very nice, and everything was clean and in good repair. There was plenty of lighting and very good storage space. There was a desk with a reading lamp on it.
The hotel has a dining room with a good menu. We ate there one evening, and the food was excellent. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable room rate, and it was also quite nice. The woman who checked us in (the owner?) was extremely nice, and she spoke English (among other languages). She lent us a local map of the region and was very helpful.
The hotel is very charming in appearance. It is quite comfortable for an extended stay. It has its own parking lot (free). I highly recommend this lovely inn.

In the picturesque heart of a tiny village in the Ardennes, you'll find a warm welcome awaiting you. The Le Nid d'Hirondelle …More
Although we stayed for only one night on our way to Bastogne and the War Memorial, the hotel was a unique experience. For one, the owner and his family run the place, as well as a stationary store that sells just about everything from souveniers to soft drinks and magazines. Hence the name. The room was nice and clean, with a modern design and excellent beds. Its also steps away from everything (lots of hotels with excellent restaurants), and has private parking, a blessing if you are driving (which is THE way to see Europe anyhow).
Please bear in mind you need to check in before 6 pm, or advise if you will be late.
And save a space for the excellent breakfast which is included.

"Awful hotel -nothing like the brochure and website"
We stayed for 6 nights in March 2014. The hotel smelt of damp and the pool area was not inviting. Breakfast was very basic and not worth the money. Flannels and bathrobes had stains on them belt loops were missing. The plastic bath was so slippy it was a death trap(no bath mat). Hotel staff were not multilingual. This hotel is certainly not a 4 star!

I booked this as accommodation for the August bank holiday weekend as we were going to the Grand Prix.
At the time I booked it it was the closest available accommodation, so I was a little concerned, however upon arrival realised it was all going to be ok.
I have given them 4 for a couple of reasons, if you are used to the added extras (shampoos/ body lotions etc, hair dryer) in your room you may miss them, but other than that it was great. Everything else you could possible want free wifi, comfortable bed, very clean and superb service.
I was really very impressed, especially the staff who were fantastic literally nothing was an issue for them, the food was very good, the gin and tonics were about the best I have ever had, but the service was without question the best I have experienced in a long time - Cedric in the restaurant was simply wonderful!!
Will be back!
The hotel seems quite new and is very nice. It is difficult to find as it is not actually in Durbuy. The rooms are large and very well furnished, although nowhere to hang (Wet) clothes. Your clothes always get wet in Spa. Good breakfast on offer, but it does not open till 8.00am. Missed it on race day as needed to leave earlier.
The hotel is 60 minutes drive from the circuit through lovely countryside. Durbuy itself is lovely. A selection of super restaurants set around a large courtyard area. Good prices an lovely food. A far cry from the chips and mayo offered at the track.
Very good value and a place we will certainly return to.
