It is a welcoming and clean place. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Close to China town in walking distance and a lot of other places too. Close enough to catch a taxi to Marina Bay, Sentosa island and the botanical gardens. Pool snd gym were fantastic. Only problem was we were not there long enough. We had a great time. Thank you 😊

Great location and staff were brilliant. The pool amenities were also wonderful. Our 3 bed apartment wasn’t vacuumed in nearly a week, so difficult to keep clean with so many people in it!

Stayed here for 6 nights as a family. Great location .Equal walking distance to both Clarke Quay and Chinatown MRT stations. We enjoyed our stay, front desk staff and security guys were always so friendly. The pool is lovely.The beds were a bit too hard in my opinion,and we found the aircon in the kids room difficult to control ,which made their sleep a bit uncomfortable. Saying that,these were minor issues. Overall great spacious 2 bedroom apartment in the Clarke Quay area.

Very clean and secure building. Condo was exactly as described. Very spacious and well appointed. Perfect for family. Breakfast was good. Swimming pool huge and a hit with the kids. Good laundry facilities and that lobby coffee was a must have everyday. No big negatives. Close to two metro stations, so great location.

Wonderful Stay
The staff here were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was like a small apartment with a small kitchen area. We received a welcome package of snacks from the hotel. The hotel was in a gray location that was close to a Metro stop and grocery store. Washer and dryer were on the premises which was convenient. I felt very safe in this neighborhood and at this property:

Location of the property was excellent being only a 5 minute walk to Clarke Quay and about the same to Chinatown. The team could not be any friendlier or helpful. Truly a great team that were always welcoming, assisted with getting pram, children etc into and out of taxis, always cheerful and willing to assist with any request. They made our stay very enjoyable. The property is a little dated and could do with a Reno however this would not stop us from staying there again. The property was clean and the outdoor pool was fantastic with areas for 2 small children to safely enjoy the water. Next time we travel to Singapore we will be staying there again. Thankyou to the team at Village Residences.

Service was excellent, felt at home in this property. The apartment itself is large and clean. Bed is very big and comfy. Pool & gym very luxurious. Location is amazing, in the middle of the city, next to clarke quay and chinatown. No noise complaints. Only 2 comments I have is: - breakfast, was not very healthy (a lot of sweet and fried). After a request they introduced plain yogurt, much appreciated. - issue with cockroaches in my room was ongoing, although the staff worked very hard on it. less

Village Residence Clarke Quay was in a perfect location between Chinatown and Clarke Quay. Restaurants were all very close and we walked every where. Staff were efficient and helpful. Our apartment was large and clean with everything we needed and the added advantage of having a hot breakfast every morning was great. The only slight disappointment was that the pool area was not up to scratch and looked very tired and in need of some updating.

I've visited Singapore many times and this is by far the friendliest and most welcoming place that I have ever stayed. The rooms are great, and having a bigger space to stay while in Singapore is quite hard to find. The kids loved the extra space. The staff treat you like family and cannot do enough for you during your stay. While staying there recently my young son fell and hurt his head. The staff were so concerned for his welfare and went above and beyond to make sure he was ok and that we had all of the assistance that we needed. I've never experienced this in a hotel before. From now on we wont stay anywhere else.

Easy living in the city!
Best stay ever in Singapore due to this awesome hotel / apartment. The rooms are huge, the kitchen is fantastic and has a great working stove, oven and big fridge. The amenities of the building are up to a very high standard. The washing machines, sauna, pool and gym are great! The interior design is classy and well done, stone floors and good lighting. The rooms are build in a way that there is zero noise from other rooms, you forget the busy city easy. The beds are firm and great to sleep in. The staff is the friendliest I ever cam across on my travels. Good humor, great care and always the best advice about the area. Singapore is big and has many possibilities, this hotel is right where all the action of the city is. Close to MRT, BUS even a shuttle-service and even in walking distance of huge shopping center and great supermarket and food-stalls. Walking distance to park and water front, museum' and theater. We came without kids, but this place even can handle the wildest and most demanding kids. Big TV's with all the channels in rooms, and located in a very safe area. separate air-cons in all rooms, and house keeping is of a very high standard. For the price we paid we did get exactly what we hoped for and more. I not often say this as i like to travel to many different places in the world, but gladly come back here anytime! Free supper fast WIFI, good phones and the little old fashioned postal services all made communication with the world just like home.

Wonderful holiday.
Amazing place to stay, so central to Clarke Quay and Chinatown. Only 5min to the train station. Staff are amazing nothing was to much trouble. Came back 1 night and they had surprised my granddaughter with cupcakes for her birthday, even supplied a candle a card. Will definitely be staying there again. Would recommend to anyone, amazing pool and always plenty of towels. Breakfast was simple but again heaps to eat and the staff were so friendly always got a good morning.last thing , the beds were a one of the most comfortable mattress I have sleep on and also plenty of pillows.

Great location
Loved this hotel. The apartment was big, a little dated, especially the bathroom. But everything functioned well. The location is perfect, a couple of blocks from Chinatown, a metro station and Clarke Quay. Daily breakfast except on weekends which worked out fine. The best part is the staff, they are friendly and knowledgeable.

A very good stay. Receptionist makes you feel very warm and welcoming, very helpful at giving tips of getting around the city. Kids loved the swimming pool. Brekkie was nice. Central location, close to Singapore river and MRT station. We had a fantastic time.

Great location and accomodation
Stayed for 6 nights, the accomodation was more like a mini flat with seperate bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and lounge / dinner. Located 10 mins walk from China town and the vibrant Clarke Quay and Robertson quay. Accommodation has fab pool and a self service laundry.

Large suites, good location and for families/group
Very enjoyable stay for me, my wife, and 4 yr old child. Two bedroom suite was very handy to separate sleepers from people awake. Rooms were a good size compared to Singapore standards. Staff were all extremely attentive and welcoming, excellent experience with all staff. Didn't cook anything on stove but the option is there. Kettle was handy for coffee and tea, and instant noodle soups for a quick snack in hotel room. Fullsize fridge/freezer was very handy, allowed us to freeze drinks and keep water cold, which we brought each day when we went out. Pool was very nice, could have used more shaded areas. Breakfast was ok. Enough selection to keep interesting for a weeks stay but not overly fancy. Great location. Roughly 5-10 minute walk to river (lots to see and do), Clarke Quay MRT station, Starbucks, Chinatown, food stalls, etc. Grab or taxi to downtown was reasonable. There's a few decent local restaurants and a Subway sandwich shop within 1 minute walk. Shower had great pressure and lots of hot water. Air conditioning worked well.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The locations is excellent, close to rail stations and Clarke Quay, the rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. This is the fourth time we have stayed there as we are very happy with it and will return. But I would suggest that they improve the breakfast area and remove the small/low tables which don't work and try to maximise the small area they have. A bigger kitchen and more variety of foods and local fruits would be nice.

Good hotel for families of 5
The team was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, suited a family of 5 with young children. The biggest selling feature is the pool to allow you to relax each day before or after activities. The hotel is a little dated now and its not as flashy as some of the new ones but not many accommodate 5 people in a single apartment.
