Wonderful staff - and would have been a wonderful resort in its prime but now rather tired. Everywhere you look you can see engrained dirt which a mop and water can’t remove. It needs industrialised cleaning and repainting. The worse thing though is the very poor Wi-Fi. How is it possible to claim to be a 5 star hotel when the Wi-Fi is terrible? If I had known, I would have gone elsewhere.

My recent hotel stay was thoroughly unsatisfactory due to the staff's noticeable unprofessionalism and apathetic service. The aging hotel was uncomfortable, with dated amenities and a gloomy ambiance. The beach was disappointing, requiring navigation of a long bridge and narrow stairs for access, contrary to the alluring promotional images. The staff's constant pursuit of tips further worsened the already dismal experience. Overall, the stay was highly disappointing and I'd suggest potential guests look elsewhere.

Overall a good experience
The resort is huge and going from one to the other amenities takes time, but there were always carts to pick you up. Our air conditioning and heat in the room did not work properly, but as the temperature was mild (December) it wasn’t a real problem for us. The restaurant food in the main restaurant was good, but local food dishes were definitely better. The specialty restaurants were ok, but nothing to write about, especially if you are a foodie. The service level was excellent. Make sure to book your excursions on Viator and not in the hotel, as they will charge you double or more.
