staff are great. sofa need to be replaced as the leather is peeling. When we first took the unit -the kitchen is oily and crockery has stains are very dirty.

great hotel! even though our first room didn't have working ac. they quickly provided us a room that had ac. it was nice to know the staff was very accommodating.

Communication is a problem. Taxi drivers do not speak English. Hard to go places by taxi without address written in local language.

Nice for Price
Spent about a week at Lexville. Was in Seoul for a conference, so didn't do much sight seeing. It's about a 45 minute subway from most of the major palaces, museums, Namsan Tower, etc. However, it's super close to the Gangnam district, COEX Mall, Lotte World, etc. There's a ton of great restaurants literally around the corner in the Jamsil neighborhood. If you want to cook in, there kitchenette includes some basic stuff (small pot, non-stick frying pan, spatula, electric rice cooker, cutting board, knife, flatware, etc.). I couldn't find a grocery store nearby, but the convenience store on the first floor has some basics (eggs, bread, etc.). It's also surprisingly quiet, given the busy neighborhood. The windows keep out pretty much all the street noise.

Comfortable, Clean Hotel in a Great Location
Stayed here for 11 nights and was very pleased with this hotel. It had a comfortable bed, clean room, helpful staff, and a great view of Gangnam and the stadiums from the 16th floor. It is located in the Sincheon section of Seoul, which is often an overlooked neighborhood, but has great nightlife, with many bars and restaurants to choose from. It is conveniently located near the Sincheon and Sports Complex subway stations on the Green #2 line. It is a little more expensive than the love motels in the neighborhood, but well worth the price for the comfortable bed and clean room.

Comfortable living in Seoul
The Hotel ,older building in which I stayed for 7 nights is conveniently located. Very close to Subway. Approximately 5 minutes walk. Olympic village that was used during Seoul olympics and stadium close to the Hotel. Lots of eateries located close to the Hotel. Starbucks is also located around the corner. Well mannered and helpful staff. The only drawback is that my room was facing another Hotel building. It was not a major issue as I was mostly outside and came late to sleep.

Not bad for a 1-night stay but could be better
I needed a place to stay before heading to the airport the next morning so booked here because the price was good. Overall the room was good-sized for the cheap price and the hotel was conveniently located. Hotel staff were very nice. A few things could make this place better: (1) Provide shampoo -- fortunately I had some on me, (2) Both my pillows had someone else's hair on both sides, and my sheet had a little hair as well - need to clean the beds better, (3) the bed was super hard. This is fine by East Asian standards, but as a foreigner, something softer would have helped me sleep more comfortably.

Convenient and quiet
It's a 5 minute brisk walk (8-10 minutes if you're strolling) to the Sports Complex metro station. Tons of food places to eat around the area, and there are coffeehouses nearby if you need a coffee fix and a few mini-marts to stock up on essentials. It's located in a small lane off the main street, so there's barely any street noise intruding into the rooms. The room was clean and sufficient for the type of traveler that needed a place to stay in for the night.

Do not stay at this place
Nothing works. The thermostat, toilet, phone, internet... Nothing worked. Everything had to get fixed during our stay. You can't even flush toilet paper down the toilet. It will get clogged. Compleletly incompetent staff who do not know anything; such as airport shuttle info, near by places etc.

Great Hotel for price
Good location: 4-5 min walk from the subway station, plenty of places to eat close by, convenience store right outside if you need to buy anything Hotel is kept very clean, shower and toilet separated, big TV with >30 channels (most in korean), with sink, microwave, washing machine, touch light controls at bedside. Service was great although they don't speak much english, staff always tried their best to help. All in all, a great stay, especially for those with a moderate budget.

New rooms are awesome!
I was lucky to get a new room, nicer than shown in pics. Location wise not the best, so we keep taking cabs which is not too expensive as long as u not caught in peak hour jam. Many restaurants around the hotel.

ห้องพักโอเค หาง่าย ใกล้ร้านอาหาร มีร้านสะดวกซื้อในโรงแรมมีเครื่องซักผ้า,ไมโครเวฟ จานชามช้อนและเครื่องครัวอื่นๆในห้อง แต่ทุกอย่างเป็นภาษาเกาหลี แต่ก็เดาได้ไม่ยากถ้าจะใช้งาน แต่ที่สำคัญ wifi แรงมาก ในห้องน้ำจะมีแค่สบู่ก้อนเล็กๆให้1ก้อน ผ้าขนหนูผืนใหญ่1ผืนและผืนเล็ก2ผืน และไดร์เป่าผมเท่านั้น แต่แม่บ้านไม่ค่อยทำความสะอาดเท่าไหร่แต่ยังดีที่เอาขยะไปทิ้งให้..คำเตือนห้ามทำอะไรหล่นใต้เตียงเด็ดขาดเพราะฝุ่นเยอะมากเหมือนไม่เคยทำความสะอาดบริเวณใต้เตียงเลย อย่าเชื่อถ้าหากบอกว่าเป็นห้องปลอดบุหรี่ เพราะตอนเราพักเราเจอขวดน้ำเปล่าที่ข้างในมีก้นบุหรี่ทิ้งไว้ในนั้นและแม่บ้านคงไม่ได้ทำความสะอาดใต้เตียงเลยยังเหลือซากอยู่..แต่โดยรวมก็ถือว่าโอเค

침구가 좋았습니다. 8일간 출장이라서 세탁기가 있는 것을 보고 선택했습니다. 세탁기가 세탁만 되고 건조기능이 없어서 방에 널어서 말려야 해서 좀 불편했지만, 가격대비 만족합니다.

최악 먼지덩어리 굴러다니고. 다음날 수건만 교체해놓고, 화장실 휴지는 별도배치되치않고 누런 얼룩있는 수건...너무 더러웠어요 1기로해주셨는데 2기를 이전에 묶어봤는데 다시는.. 렉스빌가느니 모텔을가겠습니다. 좁고 더럽고 그냥 비추입니다. 아참 옷걸이도 다부러지고...뭔지..참

삼성동과 가까운 깨끗한 숙소 추천
운이 없었는지 청소상태가 살짝 불량했지만 침구가 깨끗하고 편안해서 좋았습니다. 회사가 삼성동인데 접근성도 좋았고 신천먹거리골목도 가까워 편리하게 잘 이용했습니다 아주 가까운곳에 나폴레옹 빵집 있어서 너무 좋았어요 ㅎ

잠실에서 공연이 있을 때마다 방문하는데 솔직히 그 근처에서 가격 대비 이렇게 깔끔하고 괜찮은 숙소 찾기 힘들어요. 가장 최근 방문했을 때는 객실 청소상태가 조금 아쉬웠지만 10번 방문했다면 9번 만족하는 숙소였습니다. (청소는 조금만 더 신경써 주세요)

생각지도 않게 발견한 좋은 레지던스
갑자기 결정된 급한 출장때문에 부랴부랴 호텔을 찾았지만, 주말이라 그런지 호텔을 찾을 수가 없더라구요.. 그래서 '하루 자는건데 뭐' 하고는 조금 저렴한 숙박을 찾다가 렉스빌 레지던스를 찾게 되었습니다. 처음에는 레지던스는 유럽배낭여행때 잠시 잠을 자는 그런 업소라고 생각을 하고는 큰 기대 없이 갔었는데.. 진짜 대박입니다 웬만한 호텔보다 좋더라구요. 큼지막한 냉장고에다가 깨끗한 객실, 그리고 가장 마음에 드는건 객실안에서 취사가 가능하다는 점! 전기레인지와 전자레인지, 냄비등 취사도구가 구비되어있어서, 간단한 먹거리를 사와서 객실에서 조리해 먹을 수 있었다는 점이 가장 맘에 들었습니다. 객실 정돈상태도 깨끗했고, 종합운동장역도 바로 옆에있고, 1층에 있는 편의점까지! 정말 생각지도 않게 좋은 숙박업소를 찾은거 같아서 기분이 좋았습니다. 다음 출장때도 꼭 이용해보고 싶습니다!
