Perfect spot for a couple wanting to explore the city. Only needed the hostel to sleep, shower and do laundry and it was the perfect size/had all necessary amenities. A little small but that was all the space we needed! Very walkable, near subway stations and a 15 min walk to Hongdae shopping street

Clean, Quiet, easy to find and close to the Subway. They didn’t change our bedsheets for all the staying period (5 days) only changes the trash and towels but the rest of the hostel is awesome!!

This hostel is very clean and modern. It is easy to find and it is near lots of yummy restaurants in Yeonnam-dong. I had a room facing the street, so it was pretty noisy early in the morning. Besides that, I really enjoyed my stay!

It was clean and comfortable hotel. The staff was nice. building was very clean, new, and had elevator as well. so even when you have heavy luggage you don have to worry about that.

I had an awesome experience. The staff was able to let me check in about 3 hours early from the 3pm check in time since the room was cleaned early. The room itself was very minimal, functional and clean. I was alone and really enjoyed my stay. The location was great. True to the advertised proximity of the hot spots. Definitely worth the price.

First time visiting Korea (layover), arrived at midnight lost getting to the hotel and worried about check in time but the staff was nice enough to let us check in at 1 am and take our time carrying luggage from station to the hostile. Staff was super welcoming and friendly. Let us keep our luggage at the front after we checked out to explore the area until around 5! Gave us excellent advice on how to get to the Incheon Airport. The staff was friendly, room was super clean, and experience was awesome! Would definitely recommend and will come back again! Thank you!!!

The room is clean and big enough to stay two people comfortably.And very quiet and warm at night.However,the design of bathroom is somehow weird because the area of shower and vanity unit are toghther.It is inconvenient to use the public washing machine if we stay up late outside. Other thing is fine except this concern.

Pleasant stay in Hongdae
Overall a comfortable 16 days stay. Staff were very accommodating. Room was roomy and not too squeezy. Toilet was clean. Bed comfortable. Has a decent fridge to store drinks n fruits. Hotel was also quite secure and near some 24hr joints.

It was our second time to stay in Loft8 and like our first, our experience was a good one. Getting to the hotel was easy as it was on the main road, was easy to spot, and was a three minute walk from the Exit 3 of Hongik University Station. Check-in was brief as we just showed our reservations and after a minute, we were brought to our room (which coincidentally was also the room we stayed in during our first stay). During our five-day stay, we made use of the hotel's simple amenities such as the communal kitchen - where one can make use of the water dispenser, the water heater, the coffeemaker, the microwave, cutleries, the kitchen tools, etc. There was also a washing machine, although we did not use it. In terms of the staff, they were all friendly, courteous and very helpful. :) In terms of the bedroom, although it was small, our luggages fitted with enough space to walk around. The beds were a bit firm but they were nonetheless comfortable. Other things found in the room include: a clothes rack in front of the bed which had four hangers, an extension cord (which had a South Korean adapter, thankfully - as my friend forgot to bring one), a small fridge, a television set (there was only one English channel though), and a vanity table. Although the bathroom was small (there was no bathtub), it was clean. They also provided us with shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body wash. The only problem was the size of the towels, it was small - but luckily, they provided us with four.

Small yet cosy hotel near the metro station
After taking the AREX from Incheon airport, we left Hongik University Station exit three in order to reach Loft8. The walk itself is around five to eight minutes and the hotel is easy to find as it was on the main road. Check-in was very easy and brief; and after five minutes, we were led to our room. The hotel itself has maybe around three floors (no elevator but I'm sure the staff will be happy to help with luggage), our room was located in the ground floor. The room size is may be a bit small compared to Western standards but it suited my sister (who I was travelling with) and I. We were provided with two twin-sized beds with enough space to layout our luggages. The bathroom size was fine enough (though there was no bathtub) and was modern. They also provided us with shampoo, soap, and bath gels. The only problem was the size of the towels, it was quite small - luckily, they provided us with four. The beds were a bit firm yet still cosy, and it faces the television and a small open rack where one can hang their clothes (we were only provided with two hangers though). When it came to electronics, they provided us with three (or four) South Korean adapters and an extension outlet (which we found very convenient). There was also a small mini-fridge where we stored water and other perishable goods such as the sheet masks we bought. Overall, my sister and I have a very good stay in Loft8 and if given the chance, we will definitely be back in the future!

Its location is close to exit of Seoul metro line 2 which is the main traffic to most popular areas. The room is simple & lovely, and bed is quite comfortable. But the bathroom is tiny, not very clean and has a bad smell. If you are strict to a clean environment, this is not a good choice. Anyway, others are good.

Big comfy beds and spacious non smoking room Beds could actually fit Western size people - surprising for Asia The shower was great. Modern amenities Free breakfast in the kitchen. We had a room next to the receptionist which isn't usually the best but the door was quite thick so we hardly heard anybody at night and in the morning. Staff was generally helpful and spoke excellent English Location close to one of the exits of the metro and easy to get around. Lots of local eateries nearby
