I am hesitant to provide a glowing review due to the fact that I’d like to have an available room next visit. To be fair, it truly is four stars. Staff, location to restaurants, points of interest and recreation, cleanliness, amenities. We sincerely had a wonderful visit and staff allowed us to hang around an hour later due to flight timing. I recommend Hotel Ballard.

The property was beautiful as well as the scenic options in the area. My husband and I made long time friends with the locals . Our service and transportation was Great!!! We are planning to revist next year!!

Great stay
Friendly staff, clean room & comfy beds. With nice shower and hot water with good pressure. Great view from our balcony. Enjoyed the big bottle of free water and use of the barrowed umbrella located in our room. Safe & walkable location with fun bars & restaurants and farmers market on Sunday. When in Seattle we will stay there next time.

Very nice boutique hotel
This is a very nice hotel in a very cute neighborhood with lots interesting shops and restaurants. I am making a quick overnight trip. I am sorry that I will not be able to explore. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. I have no complaints.

The property was very stylish, the rooms were spacious, quiet and modern. The restaurant needs a little help, but there are lots of options in the neighborhood. I would have preferred the restaurant was open for breakfast for hotel guests.

I like the location. The property on the whole is dated. If nothing else they need to replace the hairdryers and makeup mirrors.

Service was not price worthy
Our family booked two king suites. One of the suites the tub would not close to fill. They didn’t restock our coffee. When we first checked in we told them the make and model of our vehicle and we were advised to park in the parking garage, which our car did not fit and almost had an accident. You need reservations for the pool which we were not told about and the person was rides to my kids because they we kids. Do not feel like I got my money’s worth. On the other hand the rooms were clean, beautiful and spacious.

This is a really nice property. The basic rooms are very small, so we upgraded to a larger one on the top floor, which was well worth the money because it has a fire place and a sitting area separate from the bedroom. The view on the shared terrace is really nice. You can see the water. They also have parking on site, and as we traveled off season, the parking was free which is unheard of these days, so that was nice. However, if you are looking for room service or a hotel with a bar, then this is probably not the hotel for you. They only offered late afternoon/dinner room service and the hours were limited. No coffee service and the in room coffee was really bad. We ended up walking to Umbria which is across the street for our morning coffee. They also advertise that a pool and spa are on site, but you actually have to walk to the gym next door, and it is a lane swimming pool for laps, which you have to reserve. Overall, it is a very nice hotel, but I probably would not stay here again. I like to travel with my small dog, which they don’t allow, and the lack of room service, coffee service, and bar service did not align with the premium price of the rooms.

Room was nice but heating device noisy. The bed was very comfortable. It was very difficult to find the hotel in the dark, which it was at check-in time, because there is no illumination on the entryway and it's obstructed by an outside seating area on the sidewalk. The evening desk clerk was very unhelpful. The morning staff were fabulous. It's in a cool area but driving around the area is a challenge.

We used to live in Seattle and still try to come back to visit regularly. Hotel Ballard has become our go-to place to stay. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are helpful, and the area is very walkable with tons of shops, restaurants, and even the farmers market on Sunday. Even with all of that so close by, the rooms are quiet and comfortable.
