Lovely home with excellent service!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay quite a bit. We were put off by the low ratings, but we were booking last-minute and didn't have many options. We had a lovely time! Christy, who was chatty but never intrusive, took great care of us, including dropping us off in town and picking us up (this is a standard included service). Breakfast was also absolutely delicious, and we had a fantastic time using the outdoor hot tub at night. If the price were, say, 25% lower, I suspect the reviews would be all glowing. As it is, although it was a great time, it wasn't as clean and neat as I would expect for what we paid.

Terrible
I left as soon as I saw the "room". It was her living room floor with two cushions pushed together. The barrier for the room was a see threw Asian door that didn't even go across the whole room. It was the kind you can put up and take down. The other side of the room was completely open leading into the kitchen. I don't see how someone can charge $203 a night to not even be able to check in until 5pm and leave at 11am and to sleep on someone living room floor with no privacy at all and have to go upstairs to a shared bathroom. It was suppose to be a bed and breakfast and the breakfast was going to cost $20. It was a complete rip off I left immediately. When I walked into the place my fiancé and I immediately felt like we were intruding into someone's home that we didn't even know. It was the most anxiety and uncomfortable feeling I have ever felt when paying for staying somewhere. I would never go there or recommend it to anyone. I'm glad I didn't stay and left right away.

Cozy and very friendly
Very pleasant, clean and quiet house in the woods, the biggest noises are of the wild animals. The owner is very friendly: good breakfast cooked according to your desires. I had a small problem with a shelf against which I hit my head (I am tall) and the owner immediately removed the danger. She wants to please you. Even the cats are friendly.

Cave description and pics need updating. Too $$
The Hostel Cave is not what the picture shows. It is a corner of a large, but otherwise unoccupied living room. There are no beds. There is an OK recliner, though it doesn't stay relined all the way back. The other two "beds" are 1 old double couch with foot rests. These don't recline. Nice cats. There's a TV there and a big screen in the living room. Breakfast the one of the 5 days I stayed was very good. Overall, I say overpriced, even for 3 people.
