Worst stay ever. If I had to say something good about this property, it was that the front desk staff allowed me in the room early. The rest went downhill from there. The room was filthy come on the floor sand all over the floor. Hair is on the floor. I don't think it was even cleaned. Hair in the shower. A broken spoon with some kind of food on it in the closet and the closet smelled like pee. There was something else in the closet. I didn't know what the heck it was. On top of everything, after 9:00 at night it was extremely noisy and people partyed until 4:00 in the morning when I finally decided that after the first night I was going to was going hightail out of there even though I paid for two nights. I called the motel around 8:30 a.m. after I left I told them I couldn't stay there because it was so disgusting and the only response I got from the woman who answered was oh I'll let the owner know. I haven't heard back from anyone. I haven't gotten any money back and I will never ever stay here again. If you like slumming it and partying all night and dirty beds then this is the perfect place for you. Otherwise steer clear.

Sketchy at best
I booked the “grand room” with four bedrooms for a family vacation. I should have known it sounded too good to be true. What I got was a hallway in a basement that anyone could walk into from a side door on the building that had four separate rooms and one bathroom in the hallway. The doors each had their own key and no joke, if someone needed to use a bathroom off the street there would have been nothing preventing them from using this one. It definitely did not feel safe to be there with kids when there were other people in the hallway at random. The pictures of what I booked made it look like you Could see outside. My basement window was against a concrete wall. One of my kids found a broken off finger nail in the bed and the whole place just felt super dirty. The door also looked like someone tried to kick it in at one point and was pretty sketchy. When I told them this wasn’t what I booked, they acted like hotels.com advertised it wrong and that wasn’t their problem. The only good thing about this place was the location, but even then I don’t think it’s worth it. This place is sketchy at best.

Upon arrival we walked into the room and there was garbage and a sock in front of the room. Once i walked in the room there was sand and a dorito on the floor. The smoke alarms were gone the phone did not work. The water pressure was terrible and the water was COLD. The convenience was being on the board walk.

My dog died the day after my reservation was made, and although it was non refundable, they refused to refund any part of the pre-paid amount. It is just bad business and honestly one night - one night was all that would have been lost to them. I’m sad to see that in a pet friendly establishment, the actual death of the pet wouldn’t even create an exception. Shameful. Truly.

We didnt get the room I booked, i booked partial beach view and got no view!! Door lock broken but does locked in a weird way that had to ask how you lock it. Tv didnt work and no remote control, AC cold setting at 60 only blew fan air and very moldy inside AC. Bed is not comfy more like metal cots put together, No towels in the room. One mattress was stained. One outlett was blown didnt work. Half of toilet paper only in bathroom. Limited parking. Great location next to JShore show house. New flr and walls but rest was a no no, price not worth me getting a tongue lashing from the wife. NoT recommend.

Beds were too small, mattress was terrible, not firm at all. No heating except space heaters which stopped working after 2 hours. No towels, had to pick them up myself after two complaints. Very tiny bathroom. Worst motel experience I ever had. Only the location was great.

The place was really cool, very old school beachy motel- when we returned to find someone took our parking spot, the desk attendant kindly had us follow him in his car with ours to a new spot. I felt like I was back in time, will definitely return!

This was perhaps the worst stay I have ever experienced, there was a leak in the walls which caused mildew and mold, there was sand fleas all over the place, the lampshade was broke the TV didn't work the lightbulb was burned out. The shades were broke we couldn't even get any privacy. We left very early and there was nobody to talk to about our discomfort.

The Motel was average, took me a while to find the office which was across the street at another motel. No swimming pool and we were on the second floor with no boardwalk access. It was pet friendly which was nice and the room was good, well mattresses could use updating.

The location was the best part of this motel. It's right on the boardwalk. Free parking was 2 blocks away which was fine. The room wasn't anything special. Website advertises coffee pot in room and free breakfast at the cafe across the way. Neither is included. It was not the cleanest, but we managed.

Rooms were not as shown in the pics...We booked a family suite which was supposed to be good for 6 people and i dont think it can fit more than 4 by any standards. Foul smell from bathroom and a non working microwave in the name of kitchen. ...Only good part was its close proximity from boardwalk.

Great location and wonderful staff at check in. The rooms themselves leave much to be desired for the price. With taxes and fees it was close to $400 night and the blankets are stained beds are overused and need new mattresses and they could use some better cleaning. There was garbage left from ppl before under beds.

The hotel is disgusting, way way way overpriced, underage drinking parties in every other room, no where to park safely, rates were doubled on the weekend, and we had to clean our own room, remove the prior guest’s food, clothing and clean the bathroom, kitchen and fridge. Not once did i see a vacuum by any of the so called cleaners, and the rooms are all carpeted. Expedia is responsible for providing disgusting places like this to operate because Expedia claims this place to be cleaned to covid-19 prevention standards. Y’all are just as terrible as the owner’s of this property.

great location, room itself is iffy
pros - right on the boardwalk. right next to the jersey shore house & shore store (if that’s important to you). it’s also right next to the best 3 brothers pizza on the entire boardwalk, mark my words! the room itself was spacious, and i liked the balcony. check in & check out was easy, took about 5 mins if that. mini fridge was very convenient, so was the little table. there was also an AC with adjustable settings which was nice cons - not clean at all. there were stains all over my bed and literally 2 dirty socks in between the sheet and top cover. i doubt they wash the sheets at all and i am extremely doubtful they ever clean the bathrooms, although nothing severe stuck out to me in the bathroom. the table that i mentioned did have a broken leg, although i really didn’t mind honestly. i think there was a dead bug or 2 in the freezer. the beds are NOT COMFORTABLE. it’s like u are sleeping on a piece of cotton on top of a bunch of springs. i will say i did sleep well, but i attribute that more to the long days i had rather than the bed being comfortable. there is no elevator so if you are like me and end up getting a room upstairs, you’ll have to carry all your stuff up about 2 flights of stairs. i would definitely bring your own bedding (sheet, blanket, pillows, the whole 9 yards). if i did not idk if i would’ve been able to slept there. and definitely bring flip flops to wear in the shower. overall the location was great but the room itself not so much!

Not what I expected.
This location was billed as a Hotel. I'd label it a Motel and therefore was disappointed upon arrival. The room I paid for touted a 'partial ocean view'. This was almost true I found if I walked out the front door on the first floor of the room the farthest from the water and leaned on the rail while rising up on my tiptoes. There were four beds in the bunk-house style room-one had sprung springs ... noticed when we sat on the bed due to no other seating being available in the room. The door lock seemed barely able to secure the room and parking our truck across the street in a fenced area felt just as risky as leaving our room to walk the beach. No hard feelings - the room was obviously not what I was looking for. I didn't stay and kicked myself for not paying the extra $10 to 'protect my booking'.

Avoid At All Costs
This place lost our reservation even though we booked via Hotels.com. When we arrived the Office was deserted. There was a note saying just leave the key on the desk when you check out. There was also a box behind the counter that was full of room keys. It seemed like anyone could walk in, grab keys, and access most of the rooms. The attendant was waiting in a car in the parking lot. When he arrived he took forever, lost our reservation and told us we were "lucky" to get his last room left. "Lucky" is not how I would describe the situation. This place is a dump. I've stayed in a lot of cheap motels growing up. This place was the worst that I've ever seen. The room looked like it was furnished by free furniture that was found on the street or bought at a thrift store for about $5. Seriously Avoid this dump At All Costs
