It’s the worst hotel in the world outdoor had a hole in it. The room is disgusting. It’s drug infested. There’s criminal staying there. The pool is disgusting. The worst place I’ve ever stayed in. My life is a crack Hotel, one of the guest holder. She stabbed her husband she just got out of jail they living there Management knows obviously what’s going on because they’re renting room so these kind of people they have to hire their own police patrol it

Had a good time.
We had a nice time. The room is a bit dated and nothing special, but it was clean and served it's purpose. The staff was very nice and we were able to check in early and had a great time. Great location. I would definitely go again.

The property is so run down. The bathroom has something gross on the toilet. And it looks like feces on the ceiling like someone threw a dirty diaper up and it got on the ceiling. I didn’t expect much but it was worse than even that.

Nice location literally on the boardwalk close to everything, Water park. good bar right downstairs and nice pool. Quiet for the location. Room is small but typical NJ shore room. Bed hard as rock staff was nice

I was nervous about choosing this property based on other reviews. We had zero issue and loved the proximity to the beach and boardwalk. Check in was easy, I did have to park my car in the lot down the street, but was able to drop my stuff in the room and move my car afterwards. The room was a motel room. I didn't expect perfection. The floors were sandy, yes, but it didn't bother us. There were NO bedbugs, and the bed sheets were clean. The shower was amazing! This was a quick weekend trip and for the price, location and a place to sleep, it was very comfortable. I'd stay again for sure.

The staff at Aztec are phenomenal! Our room was ready early and we received a call from the manager stating we could check-in. I was pleased with the clean room which was a huge worry. The free beach passes were available upon arrival which was a huge plus. The only downfall is the parking. Parking onsite is extremely limited and tight. There is additional parking available off-site, but some guests were double parking. They should consider leasing another lot to accommodate guests being that free parking is an amenity.

Check in pretty good, has free parking either under covered of the hotel (20 spots only), or across the street. Most convenient location on the boardwalk. Pool is nice except some people brought their own speaker and blast the entire pool area. Nobody to stop them, also people smoke cigar at the pool area, nobody stopped them either.

The staff was nice, the convenience and location was perfect! The cleanliness was horrible! It looks like it hasn’t been dusted in months. The toilet had previous guests filth from it….The pool was dark/lime green when we left.

The location of the property was fantastic. My family loved how you literally stepped outside and there was the beautiful lights of the ferris wheel. The location was very convenient. On the surface, the rooms and property appeared clean and well kept, however, once you got a closer look realized that everything was quite dirty and unsanitary. The air condition unit in our room was absolutely filthy dirty with globs of hair, dirt, mold, and sand blocking the vents and filter. I personally wound up cleaning and sanitizing the unit myself because I did not want my family breathing in whatever air was being pushed out of the filth. Plus, it looked like the AC unit was never cleaned since installing it. The floor in our room was ok, that is the floor that was only out in the open and visible. My son's shoe went under the bed and when I went to get it, I was appalled...there were all kinds of old food from previous guests under there along with dirt, hair, and I'm not ever sure and don't think I want to know what else was under there.

Ben Pattel the manager was very rude when I told him at 1230 am that i was awaked by the room above me rolling what sounded like a bowling ball across the floor, our ceiling. Shower was broke. Toilet paper holder was missing. Room was clean. Super noisy spot. Save your money stay a couple blocks away.

We traveled through the east coast and stayed in 3 locations from Myrtle beach to Virginia to New Jersey to home in Boston. We are easy going folks and rarely complain. This place was horrible. Beds are uncomfortable with the cheapest coil mattresses sticking on our back. I could hear my daughter turn every time from cracking box spring. We had horrible sleep night and left a day ahead of our stay. Nothing like the pictures. Tub was peeling off paint, furniture is super outdated. Door knob came off on my daughter’s hand due to door getting stuck. The room had a musty smell like they sprayed the room to cover up the smell of cigarettes. Not worth the $600 for the weekend stay. The location is great and close to boardwalk. I would not recommend this to anyone. I complained the next morning and the response was “you know we have maintenance”. Thanks, you really didn’t hear me and keep my extra day as we headed home early to get a good night of sleep.
