TV service was minimal but we didn't stay to watch TV, though a local channel for news could have been nice. "We had a wonderful stay at Whale of a View. We had an amazing view and spent hours watching eagles catching fish from the decks. Cozy house with everything we needed. The owner is very nice and called to check in with us as a major storm was approaching. Everything was amazing and we are looking forward to coming back!"

We enjoyed walking to the Lubec Brewing Company and local shops. I would recommend that visitors bring their passports as the bridge to Campobello Island is so close! "We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house at the end of Water Street. It is ideally suited for viewing of the Old Sow turbulence. I don't think there could be a better viewpoint from the American side. There are at least three lighthouses which can be seen from the house, and both the rising and setting of the sun. And then there's the Bald Eagle which likes to sit on Dog Island and think about life for hours every day."

An Awesome Vacation
"This home was outstanding in ALL aspects. First of all, communication with the host both before we arrived and during our stay was so friendly and heartfelt. She did everything possible to make us feel at home ranging from a welcome gift, to telling us how wonderful it was to spend time on the deck and where to find citronella candles, cushions for the chairs,etc. The kitchen was so well stocked with many appliances, dishes, pots and pans, spices and much food. Jing told us to use any of the food. The view of the water both from the outside and inside large windows was amazing. The beds were comfortable. It was a wonderful time. I highly recommend staying here."
